since it seems to be the split winding that is giving the higher inductance, how about instead of 2 split windings.......useing 4 split windings? or 6 or 8? to enhance the extra inductance "effect" on the coil.

I understand your theory now and it looks promising. Im still not sure on the explanation of the energy gain, but hopefully that will become clearer in time. Comparing your special coil to a standard one was a great deminstration of some actual findings to help us understand what is going on here. Well done! From the last video it appears to me that the special coil has less self capacitance than the regular coil, at least thats one possible explaination for the higher resonant frequency. So working under your theory, i have a question, would you have even higher inductance if you divided the coil into more than two sections. Say maybe you put 3 windings on a core, could you then get three times the inductance. Or maybe 10 or 20 sections on the coil. Or is two the limit?
