I was reading around the technical articles and ran accross this

To sum it up they have devised a permanent magnetic substance from a barium compound that can be magnetized and demagnetized on the fly with little pulses of energy. The advantages to this are to many to name.

I just thought it was interesting, and it read alot better than a Fantastic Conspiracy, at least to me.

This is a very good find!

It seems that you can also change the poles as well…. Called ( PCMM ) by a short current pulse.

This is some thing I will surely have to study further.

I agree the advantages are many.

Ya the more I read it, the more it sounds like it could be something like Floyd Sweets material.
Its the closest thing I have heard, anyway.

I wish I understood the math behind the compounds.

It sounds like A1NiCo material can be used a well as barium.

I think how it works is by writing a pole on the material to be north or south. Like a tape head on a cassette tape recorder onto the tape film, for example.

In figure 1 it shows a solid south and north with the flux going one direction.

In figure 2 it shows two pairs of poles with the flux now going the opposite way.

I guess the Ro detail on figure 2 is the A1NiCo or Barium?

This is a guess of explaining it. I’m still trying to figure out how the variable part comes in to play. What do you guys think? Am I close?

I think the variable part is from the amount of poles created. I can see it going from a 6 pole motor to a 24 pole motor.

If so the frequency can be controlled or written.

I threw this to a couple of people via PM to see what there opinion was but I have not heard back.

I am real interested in it. It has got me wondering.

No matter what it turns out being it will be some time before we see it, if at all. Ford Motor Company owns the right to the research and probably the pending patent.

I am going to send a letter to the guy and see if he will give some answers. It will have to be paper type because I can't find any email.

Thing is if its solid surface and you can add poles or take them away, or flip them around the material would be a great means for a static generator.

We'll see.

Hey Matt, et al,

Great find. It reminds me of the unique capabilities of common Barium Ferrite that most people are not familiar with, but were taken advantage of by Frank Richardson back in the 1970s. He also found that he could change the location of the magnetic pole of a permanent magnet temporarily with a small electric pulse. With this, he devised working models of a solid state, permanent magnet powered transformer device that predated the MEG by over 20 years. Here's a copy of his patent, if you are interested.
