In the future a person born on any other planet might call your basic principals misguided. On any other planet the absurd notion of patriotism or an emotional attachment to a region of land has little meaning when most all land and space is free. Belonging and community also have little meaning when there is unrestricted travel everywhere and your home is where you make it. Security?, there is no such thing as true security or safety in an unpredictable universe. You take your chances just like the rest of us.

In fact this universal mindset makes the notion of America or Canada or China etc.. look rather pathetic and small and insignificant because in reality they are. It's all a matter of perspective. One good sized random chunk of rock from outer space hits your country and your basic principals don't mean jack **** because everything is dust...that's the reality of the universe we live in.
