I just received an email from Rob Jesmer the executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. He said that Nancy Pelosi has gotten the House of Representatives to pass a rule that says their members do not have to vote on the healthcare bill, they only have to "deem it passed". I am outraged as I hope each of you reading this are. Is this even legal? Does anyone have any other source to verify this?

The battle is not over yet

New York's Congressman Mike Arcuri, who backed Obamacare last time, announced his conversion to the opposition, nullifying Cleveland Congressman Dennis Kucinich's switch from no to yes after his Air Force One pep talk from President Obama. I was surprised that Dennis went along with this, as his mind is usually in the right place. Right now there are several members of Congress who are "on the fence," so to speak, and who could go either way. We need not be passive spectators in this process! We can directly influence the results by phoning these Congressmen. All still hangs in the balance. Be not downhearted! Hit the phones. If you can't get through, send a fax or e-mail to each of these Congressional Representatives. I've done the legwork for you, and all the information you need will be found below. Do this today, or tomorrow at the latest, as Sunday may be too late. There will be a vote on ObamaCare. The "reconciliation" attempt to sneak this through requires a simple 51% majority, rather than the 60% majority normally required, but even 51% may a tough goal for Obama-Reid-Pelosi if we take action now.

There are 14 representatives in the "undecided" camp. Of these, the Democratic leadership would need 13; opponents of Obamacare would need two. Here are the 14, along with whether or not they voted for Obamacare last time (Y or N), whether they voted for the Stupak Amendment (S), and the average result for presidential candidates in their districts over the last three elections:

Five of these representatives have already voted against Obamacare, nine voted for the Stupak Amendment, twelve are from GOP-leaning districts, nine are from districts that lean GOP by more than 5 percentage points, and two are from districts that lean GOP by more than 20 percentage points. These are hardly representatives whose constituents are devotees of the Far Left. They should be open to reasonable persuasion.

The plans currently being pushed by the Democratic leadership would create a government takeover of healthcare, with a price tag of $2.5 trillion over 10 years, giant slashes to the already under-funded Medicare, expansion of Medicaid, huge tax increases that would cost an estimated five million American jobs and stifle medical innovation, and individual mandates to purchase government-approved insurance plans -- just to name a few. And to add insult to injury, the press is reporting that Democratic leaders plan to pass their plans using a so-called reconciliation bill, a seldom-used procedure that only requires a simple majority of votes for Senate passage -- which would be unprecedented for social legislation of this cost and scale.

This whole thing is OUTRAGEOUS, and YOU must stop it. Please, do the RIGHT thing -- reject ANY attempt to force socialized health care or government-mandated health insurance on Americans, no matter WHAT form it may take. Thank you.

In 2005, when Republicans attempted to use the reconciliation tactic, also known as the "Nuclear Option," to force legislation through Congress, the Democrats, including Obama, Harry Reid, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and others, were very outspoken against any such use. How soon they forget! Well, this video clip from 2005 exposes their two-faced turnabout. As a matter of fact, and as you will see, Joe Biden's response was, "I pray God when the Democrats take back control we don't make the kind of naked power grab you are doing."




If Peolosi's "Deem and Pass" tactic is rammed through, Mark Levin promises to bring action in court on grounds that it is unconstitutional.

JUDGE Daviid KITHIL, of Marble Falls, Texas, wrote:

"I have reviewed selected sections of the bill, and find

it unbelievable that our Congress, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, could come up with a bill loaded with so many wrong-headed elements."

"Both Republicans and Democrats are equally responsible

for the financial mess of both Social Security and Medicare programs."

"I am opposed to HB 3200 for a number of reasons.

To start with, it is estimated that a federal bureaucracy of more than 150,000 new employees will be required to administer HB3200. That is an unacceptable expansion of a government that is already too intrusive in our lives. If we are going to hire 150,000 new employees, let's put them to
work protecting our borders, fighting the massive drug problem and putting more law enforcement/firefighters out there."

JUDGE KITHIL continued: "Other problems I have with
this bill include:

** Page 50/section 152: The bill will provide insurance
to all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally.

** Page 58 and 59: The government will have
real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.

** Page 65/section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by
the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizations (such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now - ACORN).

** Page 203/line 14-15: The tax imposed under this
section will not be treated as a tax. (How could anybody in their right mind come up with that?)

** Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same
regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors' fees.

** Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration
care according to the patient's age.

** Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a
prohibition on hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an exception.

** Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates
advance-care planning consultations. Those on Social Security will be required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five years. (Death counceling.)

** Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify
which doctors can write an end-of-life order.

HAD ENOUGH???? Judge Kithil then goes on:

"Finally, it is specifically stated that this bill will not apply to members of Congress. Members of Congress are already exempt from the Social Security system, and have a well-funded private plan that covers their retirement needs. If they were on our Social Security plan, I believe they would find a very quick 'fix' to make the plan financially sound for their future."
