Well thats actually the truth. See the US government uses the greenbacks as leverage to keep the value of the dollar propped up. This is done by giving billions to foreign countries in financial AID. As those countries accept the greenbacks and use them it helps the ponzi scheme along all the while the owners of the private bank referred to as the Federal reserve quietly make billions in interest.

Congress has the authority to issue its own interest free currency which would benefit not only the economy but would remove the tax payers from being liable for all the interest payments. So basically congress and the members of the US government are not looking out for the best interest of the people and allowing the tax payer (the people) to get screwed. This is just one clear cut example of treasonous activities by the federal government yet the people still allow themselves to get screwed in the back side.

Another great point the people are missing is the federal parks and land, which are suppose to belong to the people yet its clear these parks and land no longer belong to the people as the people are prevented from accessing them when there is a government shut down. That's almost like telling a home owner that they cannot enter their own home because the electrical company has cut the power off to their house for non payment.

the madness of the US government amazes me and the fact the people haven't revolted yet just goes to show that it's actually pretty easy to screw over people and the people just sit there take it over and over again.

WE, (collectively) are ALL complicit in this 'screwing of America'. The Founding fathers INTENDED the people to be the final check in the system of checks and balances, and it is WE, (again, collectively) who have 'let down the system' by not doing our job.
You can say all you want about how the guy in Nairobi sending the gramatically poor, mispelled e-mail is a no good slime-bll con-rtist, and I would certainly agree with you. But, the reciepient of the e-mail, who responds, cause they actually think they are going to get 'something for nothing', and ends up with a 'cleaned out' bank account IS 'complicit', Unfortunately, Barnum was right; there IS one born every minute, and 2 orn every minute to 'fleece' him.

Coarse the founding fathers also intended for there to be a revolution every so often; they recognised that ANY system you set up, will eventually be 'worked' by the 'sharpies', who will manipulate the system for their benefit.

Its ALWAYS been this way, ever since civilisation started; Warlords led to Kings and Emperors, as the most powerful Warlord became King, and granted 'land holdings' to his supporters, leading to an 'upper class'.

Democracy has also obviously devolved to a 'ruling class' as Rick calls it, that is the modern equivalent of the aristocracy of earlier eras. And they, collectively ARE 'gaming the system', and have been for a long time. But now, the 'peasents' are SEEING that the Ruling Class is screwing them, and are discontented. What Sowell is really pointing out is that the current "crisis" over the partial government shutdown and raising of the debt ceiling is really just a manufactured crisis, since doing absolutely nothing would be better for the People than reaching a compromise that allows ObummerCare to continue and raises the debt ceiling. Such a compromise, however, is exactly what establishment Republicans appear to be signalling is about to happen. So, just as expected, Republican leadership will soon be announcing that they are dropping their opposition to ObummerCare even though they firmly believe it is flawed, and that they are willing to "temporarily" agree to raising the debt limit if Democrats will agree to engage in "serious debate and discussions." Of course Democrats will agree to that, since it in no way commits them to give in on anything they want. The "agreement," of course, is aimed at appeasing all those who wanted the Republicans to stand firm on defunding ObummerCare and not allowing the debt ceiling to be raised.

CNN was tossing out poll numbers this morning to "inform" viewers as to public opinion regarding who's to blame for the current shutdown and debt limit "crises." Of course the poll results claimed that most Americans blame the Republican party in general, and the TEA Party specifically. Funny, though, how none of the media will talk about Barry's low approval rating, which currently stands at 37% in some polls. That's just one point above GW Bush's approval rating of 36% in August of 2005, which CNN and other mainstream media were quick to jump on as headline news.

The latest figures in a Rasmussen daily presidential tracking poll show that only 28% of poll participants Strongly Approve of the way Barry is performing as president while 38% Strongly Disapprove, which gives Barry a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10. Other Rasmussen polls show that currently 62% of Americans believe that the US will default on its debt within the next 5 years, and that is up from 44% just 6 months ago. I think that is important, because it shows that nearly 2 out of 3 people have now awakened to the fact that government debt is unsustainable even at current levels, and that raising the debt ceiling only compounds the problem and raises the certainty of a default while shortening the time until that default occurs.

I recently disclosed how the Common Core school curriculum is being used by socialists as a tool to misinform our nation's youth and further their agenda. Here's the latest example of Common Core curriculum that reeks of the socialist agenda. Students are being given an assignment to rewrite the Bill of Rights by striking out two of the first ten Amendments and then adding in two new ones to replace those that they removed. No joke! This is an actual assignment, and here's an image of the assignment. Notice the part which I consider the most outrageous:

"The government of the United States is currently revisiting the Bill Of Rights. They have determined that it is outdated and may not remain in its current form any longer."



An irate mother of a student who brought this assignment home says that this assignment is the first and only mention of the Bill of Rights or Constitution which her daughter has been subjected to. It just goes to show that students aren't learning about the importance of our founding documents, and are instead being brainwashed into thinking that whatever is in them is simply outdated and irrelevant to current issues. It's not difficult to guess which two Amendments the students will likely scrub. One will surely be the 2nd Amendment, because they have been steadily indoctrinated to believe that it should no longer apply. I'll let you guess what the other will be.

Last night I happened to catch the video "District of Corruption," which was airing on HDNET. I had seen the documentary once before, in June of this year, and I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet. Presented by Judicial Watch, a group that zeros in on government corruption and does its best to expose it, the video shows how the current and past two administrations have sunken to new levels of government corruption as a means of enriching themselves and their co-conspirator buddies and financial supporters at the expense of the American People. This is a well done documentary, and is excellent for introducing people to the facts on government abuses without asking them to join or side with any political group. It simply presents indisputable facts and leaves no doubt about the fact that both major political parties are screwing the People.

Coming this Sunday!

Be watching this Sunday for news coverage (if there is any ) of a planned Million Veterans March on the war memorials at the National Mall in Washington, beginning at 9:00am. The TEA Party is requesting that as many non-veteran patriots as possible also show up at the Mall and "circle the wagons" to show our support for what the veterans are doing, and make it even more difficult for Park Police and Park Rangers to interfere. While many of us won't be able to get to Washington this Sunday, some of us may be able to attend events planned in our own states to coincide with what is going to occur in Washington. Those who do go to Washington may find that it will be tough trying to get around, and that is because truckers are descending on Washington, today through Sunday the 13th, to "Stop the Corruption against the Constitution." They are vowing to shut down Washington with a three day strike in which they will refuse to haul any freight. They are warning the People to stock up on items of need ahead of time, and saying they will do their best to assure that all commerce comes to a halt. Check out the Million Truckers Ride info on their Facebook page as well as live feeds presented on their RideForThe Constitution.org website. By the way, their original Facebook page, which had 80,000 "likes" was shut down when one person complained that there was "hate speech" on the site. Truckers say they have been planning this event for a year and a half, and that they are prepared to win. They will be delivering a set of demands to Congress at the World War II Memorial. This weekend will definitely be interesting, and it could also get quite ugly if Washington authorities attempt a showdown with the vets and the truckers. Some are saying that this could lead to Barry imposing martial law. I guess we'll see.

There is a procedure that must be followed, but apparently it is not all that difficult.
Yet for some reason this information has not been made readily available to the public.

Our local news recently carried the story that the 'whistleblower' of 'Fast and Furious' was prevented from publishing his 'tell-all' book. Anyone know/hear anything about this?
For the U.S. to do what Iceland and now Hungary have done, (according to the same 'them' that says defaulting would destroy the current economic system, and for the same reasons) they will say that to do this; to refuse to 'honor' our debts, and issue a 'new' debt free currency, would throw the world economic system out the window. Which of coarse is a GOOD thing, so it either won't happen, or they will put oif off as long as possible.

This is correct, MS. Under common law, citizens can form a grand jury, investigate, indict, and require the court to commence a criminal proceeding.

"People have the unbridled right to empanel their own grand juries and present "True Bills" of indictment to a court, which is then required to commence a criminal proceeding. -- Justice Antonin Scalia United States -v- Williams.

Scalia also said, "The American grand jury is neither part of the judicial, executive, nor legislative branches of government, but instead belongs to the people. It is in effect a fourth branch of government, governed and administered to directly by and on behalf of the American people, and its authority emanates from the Bill of Rights."

Yes, the Bill Of Rights, and more specifically the 5th Amendment, is what empowers the People to form common law grand juries. A grass roots organization in New York State is well on their way to forming such grand juries in every county of the state, and is providing a knowledge base to those in other states who wish to do the same. If grand juries are formed in all 3,141 counties of the US then there is no question that this is a valid and viable solution to wresting control from those who have trampled on our Constitution and taking our country back. In fact, if only 26 states form common law grand juries then they would be able to accomplish whatever is necessary. Currently, as I understand it, common law grand juries have been formed, or are being formed, in 44 states. Any person who is a legal resident of a state can join the pool of grand jurists within their state. The requirement is at least 25 grand jurists statewide in order to empanel a grand jury, but the more the better and there is no limiting number. If there are more than 25 jurists available then they can rotate their service times.

Although this sounds great and a possible "new" avenue I can assure you that the system will shut it down before it gets anywhere. You have to remember that if there is a criminal investigation and the grand jury returns any indictment that the court still has to hear the case.

Judges will then be secretly pressured by Washington DC and other "behind the scenes" power brokers to shut the case down or get the case lost in legal mumbo-jumbo until its worn down to nothing.

Its like the Police, they can charge you with anything the want and arrest you and put you in jail but its the court that ultimately decides your fate on those charges. Same principal goes here, and the courts will no doubt pull and OJ murder trial verdict where the guilty party walks.

I agree that a default needs to happen and the Federal Reserve be replaced with debt free money. all those interest payments are being paid by the tax payers to enrich the bankers who rape and rob the people and enslave them into financial servitude. the IRS is the strong arm criminal agents that enforce these bankers extortion and I say do away with the bloated IRS too!

Take this as an example , a supermarket is forced to close because of depressed conditions and Bankster action.
Soooo shortly before the agreed hour of foreclosure the shop owner decides to give the items ... particularly food , to the hungry of the community.
the fact that "The hungry" that turned up look quite corpulent to me. is neither here nor there.
