We really need to organise a drop-off point for even meagre donations, and I feel that the panacea site is a credible and trustworthy candidate.

It's a sorry part of human nature that people are sheeple, and if they could see that others with meagre resources were willing to give to a particular cause, they would be more willing to commit to it themselves.

Perhaps your site could have a separate paypal donation link; direct to the inventor to bypass pesky red tape - but an inventor receiving donations through that method would keep you notified of the running total to post on your site.

Anyhoo, that's just my 2 cents ;-)

Hey, this is a great info, congrats to Kim Zorzi.
I went to the link given by you, Ash, and found at Panacea's site the explanation of why it is different. And (if) it really performs on its own, it's then the one confirmation that much more than just self sustaining systems are at hand, because it's now demonstrated. We're waiting for measurements now, because they are beautifull data to observe, to help everyone's dreams come true.
There's quite a sensible difference in the common thinking between 'running for free energy' and 'knowing for sure that free energy has definitly been reached'... Ok, Bedini is among the ones who did it, but such systems still need expensive batteries to run a household. Direct power generation, as in Kim's design, is highly wished.

My real dream is now to have a solid state generator with no moving parts, since I feel this is possible, something better than Steven Mark's device.
Simply for the (supposed) better affordability of such arrangements (ie : being jobless at this time, I really can't afford Kim's design and pricing. And would I work again, I'd have to work for building a house first. I really hope now for a system which helps the very poors first. Something that would even allow homeless' to have their own portable device. Because energy is a major key to well being. No doubt, we'll make it with collective brainstorming, since there are great ideas like the ones in this great forum.).

Thanks for posting the YouTube clip and the other info page. The Ambient Air Heat Engine, in the form of a compressed air engine that keeps it's own compressed air tanks full, is a scientific reality. In this case, however, I must agree with Alana here, and reiterate that the video clip does not explain what the viewer is looking at, the significance of the meters, or the overall layout or purpose of the machine.

When I last spoke to Kim, about 2 years ago, he was working on this. The video clip apparently shows a "machine" running, based on pneumatic pistons, cranks, and flywheels. Whether that machine is "keeping its own compressed air tanks full" is not clear from the film.

How do we find out more?

This is a realistic looking machine. The priciples are sound, unfortunately, for those with a limited income this would probably be out of their reach financially. It would cause a homeowner to take out a sizable loan to replicate or buy this machine. It would take years to recoupe your energy money spent on electric bills spent on the grid system. I am not condemning it at all, but I feel we need something simpler to replicate that everyone could afford. Maybe a simple gravity motor, or magnetic motor, where the cost would not be apprehensible. For those that could afford such a system, it would be a great investment if it works as advertised. Hi everyone,

I am a retired diesel mechanic 1st class and I have designed, built and repaired hydraulic and air pressure systems. I have worked with many of the parts used in the shown motor, I read the site referenced and find the claims of maintenance costs, power production and reliability of the motor extremely optimistic. As for the claim of air pressure regeneration while powering a X kilowatts generator, I would say it is not real. The air cylinders used are pressurized to 2000 lb/sq in and that is what keeps the motor running for so long.
After just a week of continuous run, the 2 two way air cylinders will have to be rebuilt or replaced by new ones. The electrically activated air valves (seen at the end of the 2 air manifolds) tend to leak after a few thousand cycles and that is not even a day's work for that motor.
I would need more than just that video to accept such claims and would certainly not invest in one as the racket they make would not make it suited for inside or outside a house.

Michel you are undoubtedly correct about the noise and the components soon wearing out.

But the point is WHO CARES ?... IF indeed the design can self-run and provide excess work (still a big "IF", though).

The Wright Fliers of 1909 were totally unsuited for anything but short, low demo flights around a well-cleared field. The engine would last for about 20 hours of operation or less, spitting Castor oil the whole time, and then needed to be completely re-built. More times than not, the fragile structure received some kind of damage on landing and had to be gone over carefully before the next flight.

That was no reason to give up on aeronautics

But what would happen if someone use better cylinders and better air valves like in other engines.
The air which enters the first cylinder of Zorzis engine is 135 PSI not 2000 lb/sq.

I am sure he could use premium quality air cylinder but none of those are made for 100% duty cycles. Since it is said to re pressurize the air used, the flightless leak would lower efficiency. Beside that, he needs to use air dryers for continuous use and those use air pressure to evacuate the captured water lowering still more the efficiency.

The air which enters the first cylinder of Zorzis engine is 135 PSI not 2000 lb/sq.

The 2000 ll/sq in my statement was for the air cylinders he feeds his air motor with. He uses a pressure regulator to reduce to a working 100-120 lb/sq in pressure to run the motor.

I remember Kim sharing some stuff with me, i am sure he would if some one mentioned they intend to help him get it out there, he seemed to not care and share stuff with me (he already has a word file). Hi Inquorate, thanks for you offer, yes we do have a pay pal, the way a non profit organization is structured is so the trustee's are formed to keep the security and make sure every thing remains on par, also so it can be tax deductible (in the USA we have 501C status). We avoid a "random thing", the security we feel is better run by trustee's who can monitor and allocate the funds legally to help inventors. This is the way we intend to keep Panacea running , thanks for you suggestions tho.
