The Sun is Shrinking
And Does Size Really Matter?
Or is this just creationism at work?

Meaning

the surface of the sun would touch the earth is much less than 20 million B.C. Therefore, the assumption of a constant shrinkage rate is a conservative assumption.

Needless to say boys and girls we have a time line and EVOLUTION problem
here if this be true. There is lots of evidence that history is not what we
have been told it is, but this is really a major bug-a-boo ..

And even though Veith's video's may be a bit overdone with regard to his abundance of references to the bible and "the word of the Lord", they really are very interesting to watch and thought-provoking, since he did his homework and presents lots of astonishing facts and references.

This is the same story as what happened to the Maxwell equations and some of Dirac's theories. "Science" simply ignores unwanted solutions and explains them away, which is why we still burn oil and cole for our energy production.

A eye opener to what science really does know.
I strongly suggest anyone watch these videos to widen your
knowledge of the facts known to science.
The presentation was excellent I thought.
For those that enjoy knowledge and the facts, these videos are two thumbs up.

In the past, I had thought creationist were bible thumpers.
I was duped to believe the propaganda about the creationist.
I never took the time to review the facts science ignores which the
creationist use to debunk the doctrine science made up without facts.

Please note that I did say: "maybe a bit" .....


As you said: "In the past, I had thought creationist were bible thumpers.", and so do most people think, including myself up to recently.

However, if you want answers and are prepared to put your prejudice aside for maybe 10 minutes and actually start listening to the arguments Prof. Veith brings forward, you're going to think about a lot of things, including religion and the bible, a whole different way. You'll find a lot of missing pieces to the puzzle that suddenly fall into place.

I especially recommend "The Islamic Connection", where he shows the remarkable resemblance between Roman Catholism and the Islam:

I should add that in his other videos, like the Islamic connection, Veith talks much more directly about the bible then in the ones posted here by Vortex. So, yes Vortex, you are absolutely right. It's not overdone at all in the video's posted here.

What is truth...

Does it even exist?

Is there an "absolute truth" or is it that there is an infinite number of possible truths and that my free will, my consciousness, decides what is true for me??

Is it absolutely true that I typed this message at the instance of time called the 26th of may 2009 9:04 CEST, or does it just appear that way? Or did I actually create some thought, some virtual quantum object that as one of its many manifeststations unfolds itself, "materialises" as a message into the "real world" in a "location" we percieve as "time"?

Interestingly, according to "what the bleep" there are enormous implications to what reality is and how we percieve it. It looks like we are beginning to realise that mind/spirit and body are *not* separated. The old paradigma that the world and its inhabitants are just big dead, mechanical machines cannot be sustained. Our brains are much more complicated than we thought, and most likely even function like quantum computers, according to a.o. Roger Penrose:
