"When the program is completed, it will be available to the world free of charge."

Not sure what folks here would think of the curriculum but it looks interesting:

If they are serious then they need to add in all the works of Viktor Schauberger. For his theories aid humanity in just about every field that truly matters, from farming and planting trees, to power generation, and so much more. The longer the world stays away from his technology the worste things will get, until we reach the tipping point of no return. For once that point is reached then all we can do is wait to see who makes it as the earth takes it's time in healing all the damage that was done to it. For if we keep this type of living up we will destroy the earths ability to support our type of life and it will get rid of us all.

Reading the publication posted there, it seems they don't read Victor Schauberger work yet or Japanese research on alkaline water.
          C&EN: POINT-COUNTERPOINT - CHLORINE
          Something in the water

Bad thing is, they still endorse chemical for water treatment. It seems the main thing they want to promote is their TAML, which they mention as cure for everything:
Aug. 18: Green Catalysts Provide Promise For Cleaning Toxins and Pollutants - Carnegie Mellon University
Green Solutions - Carnegie Mellon University
PHILADELPHIA—Tetra-Amido Macrocyclic Ligands (TAMLs) are environmentally friendly catalysts with a host of applications for reducing and cleaning up pollutants, and a prime example of "green chemistry." Carnegie Mellon University's Terry Collins, the catalyst's inventor, believes that the small-molecule catalysts have the potential to be even more effective than previously proven. Collins will discuss how iron-TAMLs (Fe-TAMLs) work and areas for further research, citing evidence from mechanistic and kinetic studies of the catalyst on Monday, Aug. 18 at the 236th national meeting of the American Chemical Society in Philadelphia.

The oxidation catalysts are the first highly effective mimics of peroxidase enzymes. When partnered with hydrogen peroxide, they are able to convert harmful pollutants into less toxic substances. Made from the common elements of biochemistry, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen around a reactive iron core, Fe-TAMLs are less toxic and usable at extremely low concentrations. Additionally, their composition also results in very strong chemical bonds that are not broken down by the highly reactive oxygen intermediaries formed during the reaction with hydrogen peroxide.
Less toxic is still toxic and Viktor Schauberger warn that iron attract pathogen bactery. They remove some bad one but may introduce another.

That line caught my eye too, I told myself he should have said there aren't any MAIN STREAM scientists who've been trained to be green.

Yeah I agree with you all, one does have to wonder if this institute is just about that TAML

Ash you mention R&D. . . Obama claims now that he is supporting energy r&d, we have made more advancements in energy in a few months than we have in the last 30 years:

Lately I've been hearing some say the economy is for sure turning around at the end of the year. Hopefully that will be coinciding with better energy production practices.

Well a girl can hope for a bright future, cant she
