  • R. Adams self excited odd/even motor

Hi folks, im wondering if anyone out there has tested Robert Adams self excited motor which has a rotor of 7 magnet poles and stator of 6 coils so there is a phase difference and when one magnet approaches one coil the opposite coil has a magnet departing it and i believe they are wired in parallel so that as a current pulse is generated in the coil with magnet approaching it is fed or absorbed by the opposite coil to help demagnetize the core and or repulse it and at a certain threshold speed the motor runs on its own after the drive motor is disconnected. heres the patent, UK Patent # 2,282,708

I've got one running right now that is 5 magnets 2 coils. I don't have any self running going yet. I guess I haven't tried it the way your explaining. But it does produce a fair amount of negative energy that I am dumping in a second set of batterries. The second set has a common ground with the primary set and it appears that the energy can flow down that wire into the drive batteries and sustain them. The whole system platues the batterries neither charge or dicharge past that point. So far I have run for up to 24 hours, the running set and the charging set both neither gain or loose during this perion, and the charge when rested set usually charges about 25% over what we put in the motor from the primary set. The primary set sometime comes above where they were when we started.

I am adding a third tommorrow and I am working on a timing mechanism to keep all three coils fireing in sink.

I have also started drafting a pdf doc on it with myt findings and construction details.

    Cheers
    Matt

Hi Matthew, thanks for the reply. Those results based on your tests sound good. I am planning to try the self excited adams design but what surprises me is that nobody else it would seem is replicating that design and if it works as Robert Adams claimed, it would be a very useful device.

        I agree..
The reason I mentioned it is because I can see how it could work. The coils in my setup even under straight grounded setup barely draw any current. And no matter how much current the output of the coils negative energy seems to be relativly the same. So the potential is there. The issue would the shuttling. Moving and grabbing the flow of energy at the right time. Timing can get pretty hard.
There is also the theory about negative energy that says it grows. So some real power could get into the sytem over time. But its definate trick of patients and persistance.

Hi Matt, you could go to 'ep.espacenet.com' and look up the patent or try this link to rex research, the patent info is towards bottom of the page.

                Hey
Thanks for putting that up. I finally got read it all. That was some info I had never come accrossed. I realized what I'm doing is not like what is described in that doc or the patent. Although it is similiar in effect its different in application.

                Good luck
                Matt
