Hey Doc,

regarding your live video stream, you could instead take photo captures every 5-10 seconds and post those. They would require far less bandwidth and you could host it directly on your home server.

Further more, a number of newer home internet routers have an option to connect a USB camera to them and they will do all the work for you (whether streaming video or taking still photos at set intervals).

This solution might be the cheapest one, as a router would cost you < $100, and you might already have one that does it without knowing...

Thank you for the info and yes I had considered the snapshot idea but moved to the idea of full streaming because... What I was going to try was to stop some of the negative press if it was streamed, maybe some would back off. Yes I know that it will still happen as they will accuse of modification etc., and this would be more prevalent with a snapshot platform.

Actually today I was wondering if it would have much benefit at all, maybe the few chosen replicators would be still the old and best way. Although many of the replicators that are the best will not in confidence certain details.

Anyway thanks again and over the holiday I have a lot to get done and even post some new and interesting videos.

If you still want to go for live streaming, you can use your home server for it. Since you are running IIS you could add a streaming module (MMS) to it and just publish a live stream using Expression Encoder (Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Expression Encoder 4 with SP1)

It's not too complicated - you'd create a publishing point in IIS/MMS and connect EE to it with your live feed. This way you keep everything local and you can adjust the amount of bandwidth you want to allocate to the stream, etc.

Hey Doc,

I saw the recent videos with the diode compass/torpedo and got intrigued because of the apparent changes to the water.

Have you had a chance to measure the temperature of the water before, during and after exposure. If the viscosity is going up causing the diode to float, would the temperature be dropping along the way?

I suppose using an "analog" thermometer would be better in this case rather than some electronic probe device.

It would be interesting to know what other qualities of water might be changing. I guess we can't easily determine any molecular changes such as the H-O-H angle, but perhaps pH and any magnetic properties...

Well I set aside some time and found the following. I have not used MS Server for over 4 years now, it was so patched and open that I dropped it and went to XP Pro, there is one of my major problems. Pro appears to allow only 12 simultaneous connections at one time. After dropping Server I dropped Roadrunner which was giving me ~6meg and went to ADSL so now I have 3 down and 768 up. Not so good even for my small site. Guess I best still look at a host. I totally refuse to add any new MS products to any of my machines. Keeping my Dell's going with the software I have as long as possible. Anyway they are used mostly for in-house development anyway and most are not even connected to the net.

This is not a trick, but it could easily be by someone. If you take a diode that has the correct leads, they can be magnetized easily and one has basic compass. To perform this one must insure the leads are not magnetized.

This is not so new to me as stated in the video text. Dr. Jenkin and I did a considerable amount of work using HV and water. We were able to turn the water into a thick (jelly like) flow and direct it with voltage and make waves, water domes, etc., this of course has been done in part by a number of others. What is so intriguing is that we did it with AC/HV as what is present with the Exciter.

The torpedo was a surprise to me and still is.

As to temp. I have done nothing on this setup and yes the old lab thermometer (maybe not mercury) would be the best to look at it. I would need to enclose in some insulation so that it could be somewhat stabilized. So to answer all of this, don't know.

What I do know is that leave the beaker set for awhile and the diode will sink as it should (drift down) not shoot down. It was to show something which was meant to stir some interest and I hope someone may go further with it.

I looked in on you forum and post of 7/7 and if I may present you with a few thought provoking questions, that if you get it straight it will save you much time in the direction you are heading.

So to get a coil to resonate with it's environment is easy. Any waveform will show what the resonant frequency is. It's a simple LC tank circuit with the C being the space the coil is in.

Is it indeed a simple LC tank? If this is the case is it a parallel resonate or a series circuit, or is it yet both? You appear to grasp the inner-winding capacity, so do we not have a number of parallel tanks in series?

Tonight i'll take a look at the space around the coil and see what exactly is happening energetically.

Excellent, done properly it will provide you with ten additional question for each one you solve. This is indeed a very useful step.

Maybe we can reproduce the oscillations without a proprietary high hfe transistor or several hundred dollar signal generator..

Now why go and bring this into the research you are doing? Look it can be done from banging a pan with a spoon to the proper flash rate of a Xenon lamp. No! To see the relations does not require a special transistor or thousands of dollars in precision generators.

What is needed is understanding which frequencies within the set or rather which harmonic of 1.094 has the greatest excitation on the local space. Not all do, some don't and some go utterly crazy.

Which httpd were you using on that XP because 12 connections is rather low, unless it's some kind of M$ IIS product with Client Access License limits?

You could download Apache httpd (apache.org , free) and serve as many connections as you like, or as many as your internet bandwidth will allow. Besides, Apache is the most widely used and pretty much the most secure httpd out there.

If you need to host your content though, I can offer you access to my server on the West coast. It is under-utilized so it might as well be put to some good use.

We can make any kind of a setup you like, deploy a blog site, host a domain, you name it. It will really make it easier for you to publish things without having to create any html documents, scale photos, etc.

I hadn't taken the inner capacitance of windings to it's ultimate conclusion of parallel LC circuits in series..
Wonder if that is linked to the 1.094 in any way, and if that would lead to calculations which could suggest an optimal coil winding for maximum coherence? Just wondering out loud.

I didn't get time to look at local space around coil very well yet (sometimes i still set an alarm to wake up in the morning, i'm not used to how demanding children are) but i was anticipating more questions than answers i'm wondering if i'll get slightly out of phase waveforms at different points along the coil..

as for a driving circuit, it's more to understand what exactly causes a coil in resonance to go into coherence. I'm getting the impression i'll possibly get the answers through other observations.

I'm currently leaning toward this analogy; push on a brick wall horizontally in a rythmic pulse like a sine wave, and at a particular frequency you'll get resonance and standing waves. All the energy contained in the vibrations is held in the wall as stresses and kinetic energy etc.

Now, instead of a sine wave, push and pull the wall abruptly at the same frequency. The wall in my mind would become rubble quickly, it's elastic limit breached. Is this overextension where the energy came from to destroy the wall?

I think though the analogy is severely limited, there may be something in that.

Anyway, thank for your responses, they provide much food for thought, and i appreciate it may be painful at times to watch me stumbling along time to stop wondering and to make more time in the lab.

Apache gave me headaches when I was running a home server. There is another Free server software out there you may be interested in called 'Abyss server'. The X1 sever is a free download and incredibly easy to set-up.
