Randell Mills, founder of BlackLight Power, claims to have invented a reactor that makes hydrogen atoms drop to an energy state below ground level, which causes them to release "100 times as much energy as you’d get by just burning the hydrogen." IEEE Spectrum interviewed several physicists about it, and they say it's poppycock. Nevertheless, the company developing the technology has received $60 million in funding.

And that's only because of the way they did it.

Lets improve on it using their case file.
To save time:

1) They should of got the independent test done BEFORE making the claims
2) We said to do that 5 years ago, and to avoid the Patent controversy

If you have a device like this, then if your not going to license it out and free source it, at least do an independent test before making public claims, as it will help FE in general.

I dont think this is going to be able to replicated and used [independently] easily,I AM NOT SURE THO- it may be restricted to the GRID just like another oil company, buy we can still use the case to help our movement for other means from the non profit org's perspective. And it wont stop the kooks (us) from striving towards the open source one we dont need a company to do.

If it works it will be worth it

If blacklight succeeds it should be worth the $$$. Since it would be a big breakthrough in this technology.

If its smoke mirrors and lights then just another swindle that we are all getting used to.

This group has been working with Rowan University in New Jersey USA and its research seems legit. With that backing they should be producing real results soon
