  • Light as a feather stiff as a board

I was just watching some videos on youtube of the classic party trick light as a feather stiff as a board. Basically a person either lies down or sits on a chair. A number of people surround the person. They lay there hands in the center on top of each other and then they all try to life the person with one figure.

The first thing you notice is that the synch twice when doing this. First there is a the serial synch where they all touch hands in the middle then there is the parallel synch where they all lift at once. What does this mean i dont know. I was hopeing someone might have some clues. Maybe done some research on the crystal castle. It seems such a simple act and yet has a large effect. How come we dont understand it. Any guesses on what is happening physics, or other wise.

don't know if it is all that mysterious but haven't really looked into it.

I tried it though with some friends years ago. There was five of us and one sat on a chair while the other four lifted the chair using just our index fingers...

doing the math, it doesn't sound that spectacular... 8 fingers and i guess about an 80kg guy at most... 10kg per finger sound like alot? I don't know...

      Unspectacular

Yeah i know what yah mean about it sounding unspectacular but when you look at the videos the person lifts differently like there is less gravity there, Its almost as if the person just flies up.

        Sensation

I would surmise that it is a real phenomenon. Some get it and some dont. I recall using the ouji board in my earlier years and how there was a strange sensation of synch when everyones hands were on the puck and how as each person removed there hand the sensation felt like it was dissipating into the surroundings. By a number of people synching in such a way it seemed to change the local environment.
Its just amazing that there is very little scientific experiment in this area. If anything it would be the easiest way of directly discovering the framework of creation. I wonder if a hadowanec detector would pick up such a phenomenon as group synch. Is it a gravity wave.

Richard Osterlind explained this party trick very well. I believe, it was in "Easy to Master Mental Miracles"... Nice party trick, but no mystery here, sorry

            Many Ways

Theres many ways to spin a wheel. Just because one of them is trickery does not mean that the other is as well.
That said I am of the mind that everything is explainable and is only magick if you choose not to scientifically investigate it. That the human mind can effect a small wheel says to me that it is possible and so such things can no longer be rulled out automatically until full scientific investigation.

Synch is a powerful thing and at guess would surmise is related to gravity.

              Strange feeling or movement

I just recieved a package today and it was packed with little styrofoam balls. I have always found it curious how when one pick up a box that has been filled with such little airated balls that the box feels and moves differently. In what way i am not actually sure and if the phenomenon is real i dont know why. It just always suprises me how strange it feels. Does anyone have knowledge of why. It is such small curiosities which i am sure would open up the universe to our minds.

@Dmonarch, that is interesting, there is something to spherical dielectric beads, I agree. Seems like there is way too little thinking about these things and the link to cold electricity.
