When I built my first Imhotep Radiant Oscillator Lite using the relay I was so excited. It so simple and when I turned it on and it lit up the room it was Christmas!!! Then I checked the amp draw------3 AMPS !!!!#&*^%$*&^. ----and that is when all the fun started. I knew that I could solve that little problem in a day or two. I would just stick a part here and there and presto---Free light

It has been months. But I have had tons of fun doing this project , learned alot, and do use my little "Mini Box" light here at the table where my computer is. The "Lunch Box" is a little bigger but I will use it on the boat and it is always ready for an emergency. Both can be run on a modest solar panel if the power goes out.

This is worth doing.. Carry on.

Reading Ossie... he talks about the REAC being a big DIPOLE. When we see a rise in charging or more energetic flux... and we do this by means of connecting to the ground, are we utilizing the EARTH as a dipole?

Okay, okay, I'm down to 60-80mA now using relay and ign coil and light is quite bright 'ish.

So that leaves me with 420mA left to try and boil the kettle and... hmmm I think Santa and his sleigh will have to wait a little longer,

hi i have put the ignition coil in series with the solenoid,
now the circuit can draw less amp and i have more power in the ignition coil...

no measure but i can look the amp draw with 12v lamp put before the collector..

new discovery: if you connect the positive of charge batter with positive of source you have more output but lthe cfl light go off

Callanan's Charger

I try to replicate the Callanan's charger, which is described here:

Quite unexpedly noticed that for the charge process there are rather big pulses entirely on the battery. It means that the battery has big resistense
for the pulses. Is it normaly? Could anybody tell something?

Sorry Mark. I wrote it in the description.
It is based on the Ossie motor. I have 2 x 32mm neos mounted on a HDD rotor with its original drive coil underneath. I am driving the rotor via four coils. Two hadnd wound bifilar and two air core. The amp meter is showing the current being used to drive the motor. the 6.3v is th motor battery. The other meter is reading voltage in a cap being charged by the coil underneath the rotor. I then collect the charge over a schottky bridge activated by a third reed switch.
What I am seeing is there is no increase in current draw when I charge the cap. I'm yet to measure current from the generator.

Hi folks, Hi jimboot, i have also been running some tests with an ossie callanan type circuit, though I'm using the garry stanley type air-core motor for testing.

It really does seem to be a very efficient way of running a motor, yesterday i ran the motor with 12 volts for 3 hours and the standing voltage was slightly greater than the resting voltage of the battery before i started the test.
I would have to run many more tests to make conclusive statements, though it sure looks promising. I am using the basic circuit with two reed switches on the low and high side of the drive coils with one 10 ohm resistor in series.

The first pic is the basic Ossie motor circuit and the next pic is one I'd like to try with mosfets.
