Ok, Tonight I made a successful run with my 3 coil rotor, three coil stator Ed Grey Motor replication, its a "Mini motor". This is just a trial run using circuit Fig1 patent 3,890,548. I started it by turning the motor by hand. and let me tell you , the six coils firing simultaneously creates a noticeable thump, thump, thump, sound as the coils all fire at once. The force jarred the coils loose on the rotor. But At least I know it works. I still have a lot of work to do before I present it in a "Real Ed Grey Motor" Video. Dis aint no spinning disk pulse motor. Stay tuned for future updates!

Thanks. I'm currently using schematic as described in post 228. The way the motor is commutated gives me multiple options for testing different capacitor coil set-up.

Here is a sort-of plan for my redesigned Ed Grey commutator. This is a Mock-up and is subject to change. All contacts must be inlayed flush with the surface of the rotating disks.

Its plain that the Grey tube Replication thread is a joke. The moderator allows no discussion, questioning his thoughts or ideas. I now see what the true intention of his thread is to replicate. That is something that resembles the actual device but isn't. He has stated that he has no intention of duplicating Grey's device, but rather replicating the functions. This I believe he has accomplished. If I put a soldering iron into a can of soup it will heat the contents, replicating but not making the soldering iron a cooking stove.I agree that a new thread should be started but not by him or me. There are people here who are trying to find the TRUE and correct way that this tube works. In case some haven't noticed that, That Thread has now had statements recently changed starting at the beginning of the Thread. I will only say that if I edit my post, the post will reflect the date and time of the edit. These posts I speak of do not. To make one of their statements recently made, credible, someone add a few inches to their older posts. I agree, that I made a couple statements, that hid there true meaning from everyone except the one person they were targeted for. Thus causing rampant outbursts from this person in retaliation. I can honestly say I have never seen anyone shudder while typing a response before.

Anyway, since no one can disagree with the replication thread, And that replication is not open to debate, as stated by the originator, I would like to say good work! Now we need a thread started to find out the True workings of the Grey Tube. The "discussion thread" recently started is subject to be modified by its creator.

Yes I did didn't I. But that was the only way I could get him to show the meaning of his thread. As you found out it is not open for discussion. But I would love to see a Thread started by neither him or me.

Thats just it we didn't create that thread. From the first of his thread, to date. It has been his thread, allowing no deviation from what he said. If one deviated, he retaliated with insults upon the intelligence, dignity and integrity of that person. I for one still have my doubts about that slamming diode. If there was supposed to be a diode there it could have been drawn there like the others were. But the triode also could provide a alternate path for the High Voltage as well as a one way path, and also provide the existence of the low voltage to the tube. Hence the triode drawing is probably correctly oriented in the drawing. Anyway, that is not open for discussion in that thread.... Its to easy to say the inventor had no clue what he was doing when one does'nt intend to find out what he was doing. Hey I'm not the one who said to post your disagreements with what I say somewhere elts.

I'm a long way from finished. But I have the Basic Commutation To get the motor to work. I'm about to break it down again to add more of the patents features to my redesigned commutator. Here is video of it running from a two capacitor 37000 VDC capacitor Bank. Capacitor are charged and disconnected from power supply before discharging thru the motor coils. You cant see the capacitors but you definetly can hear the discharges. Its Not much but it is where I'm at
