I was looking at some youtube WFC videos and noticed bigger size of toroid maybe between 3"-4".
I still can't find the info what properties of toroids are the best for WFC application and how to calculate the winding to 1000VDC output voltage for the tubes at the primary given voltage and to the toroid size. Also I saw some video clips with 0.5amps total consuption on WFC but I am not sure if that is coming from step up toroidal transformer which could be sucking more juice on the primary? Is there a way to rise the voltage by diodes in cascade?
