I followed the meg for years. The project is not that simple. Tom Bearden along with that team did get more out than in. It was the cost of metglass. In order to reduce the cost they needed to order quantity. I thought that a ferrite material permability 2500 like Manganese Zinc would have a window.
The possibility is there but requires material science and physics. They probably understood but the funding did not happen.

To give you an example of the time window to capture the quick magnetic flux across 8 inches of metal bar look at the Time domain reflectometer on a length of coax. using an oscilloscope a fast pulse is sent through the cable and when it comes back it is possible to measure that time. Just ahead of his time. with the right material such as metglass is possible. The project is classic teaching example showing how to beat the dubious magnetic flux rascal. Some say Bearden was holding back, well he still demonstrated what was possible. Cannot judge what he chooses not to talk about but I would like to know.

I think you have asked a good question. I hope you will solder up some parts like the guy in this video. highly recommend his videos. it is fast pulse and the benefit can be had during a brief period of time when exploiting, capturing one weakness of magnetic flux using rates of travel. transmission line length.

Is a very simple device...so simple I will give it a try...since I have must of what I need...

Based on an Old Transformer "T" and "U" Elements, That could come out of an old Truck F-150 Ignition coil as well...a couple of SR22 sized Neo's...couple of cheap diodes 4001...and wire...which I have to build a QEG Stator Toroid...

The guy explains around six turns...nine volts prime charge and that's it...

I honestly do not believe someone who is a Faker...would go into so many details like this guy does on that link...plus showing how to simple build it.
