Since the southeastern US is frozen in today I decided to do a little experimenting. I was using a circuit similar to Bedini's SSG except I wanted to know what effect I would get be controlling the on time of the transistor that turns on the coil. I connected my picaxe controller so I could precisely control the on time. What I found may not have anything to do with the discussion going on in this thread but maybe it might.

I found that with a fixed load the voltage of the discharge impulse does not change. This agrees with conventional theory. But I also found something I didn't know but maybe some of you already do. If I keep the on pulses shorter than enough to saturate the core then I can control the length of the discharge pulses. Once I have the on pulses long enough to saturate the core then the discharge times stay the same no matter how long the on pulses are. So anything beyond the time to saturate the core is wasted energy. I already knew that but I didn't know exactly why. Now I do.

So we can't change the discharge voltage by varying the input pulse length but we can change the input length to change the output length up to the point where we reach saturation of the core.

If this information is of no use to anyone just ignore it.

I just now realized there is something else I need to check out. I wonder what effect changing the on pulse voltage will have. Maybe tomorrow I can check that out. If I find something interesting I will post that as well if I don't get bashed too much for being somewhat off topic.

In my view, as Steorn demonstrated before and Naudin confirmed in his website, there is another demo starting at 1:35 minute mark: Muller Dynamo Experiments - YouTube

A magnetic field affects the inductance of a coil. In other words, inductance is not a constant of number of turns and geometry, but it also depends on the magnetism which it is immersed into.

If we have been thought weight is a constant and taken as fact when one gets up on the scale, that was based on the constancy of both mass and gravity. If there is a shred of confidence in Tesla's comparison between mass and self-inductance, one can notice that presence of a magnet bar can affect mass, hence weight.

Saturated or not saturated core is immaterial when we notice the effects of magnetic fields on matter (or coil in this case).

I think from what has been sugested, Erfinder is demonstrating at minimum, the second way "to reduce the retarding force R to a smaller value r, leaving the mass and the impelling force the same." Or even the annihilation of it, namely Lenz force. Or even, even more, making it (Lenz force) work with the force f.

Hello Steve, I think I've watched all your videos, thanks for spending so much time on everything. Did I miss something though? Did you post any circuit diagrams? I'm not sure what a hall triggered 555 PWM circuit is. Are you using the 555 like a One Shot or are you hitting the power coils with a square wave when the trigger is on? I'm guessing. The MoGen is even more confusing to me. Is the motor a single shaft with two rotors and two sets of coils, or one long rotor going through two sets of coils? Either way the coils are completely isolated from Mo to Gen right, at least while all electronics is disconnected. Here again if you have a diagram posted I must have missed it. I have a lot of questions but will wait to see if there is a diagram somewhere. Am I right by saying the effect you are demonstrating to be working as you expect is the increase of speed in the motor when a load was placed on the output of the generator? I was also wondering about the self oscillation in the trace of the scope. I'm wondering if it is actually self oscillating. Every oscillation I've seen shows as a separate higher frequency much like a typical blocking oscillator. In one of your videos I heard a lot of different sounds from the motor you had hooked up as it accelerated. Is it possible the what your seeing as an oscillation might be a vibration in the motor or some sort of harmonic as the speed or current draw increases rather than an oscillation? Just guessing on everything so far Steve, I hope I'm not just wasting everyones time.
