In a way I hope Its A hoax, If it Isn't IMHO He'll be very dead very quickly or perhaps not so quickly if the treatment of recent researchers is anything to go by .. they seem to chop a few bits of first these days, (if the plasma battery guys are anything to go by) .

He is doing a few more adjustments to make sure it is OK when running for longer periods of time, temperature control... etc.
He said that in a maximum of one week he is going to show another video where he will remove all the wood to avoid all these critics...

thanks ewiz -- I'm a fan of Romero's work anyway ever since his epic run with the Adams / Muller motors .. and as you say yeah it seems to work. pulsing the flywheel is an option I hadn't considered!

Hi All, In my efforts to try to replicate this device and similar flywheel units, I decided to trace the wires to and from different parts and pieces so that I could build up a conceptual block diagram.

I studied the first video frame by frame to see where each wire went and why.
It became obvious that the wires were run through the hollow metal tubing framework (clearly a pain in the arse for just a prototype - at least would be for me).
I traced wires first from the drive motor through the frame to the run switch, and found that I could not account for where one wire goes down one of the support legs sitting on a board that runs under his mains power workbench.
Why does this wire need to run through this frame member? There is nothing down there to connect to (except unless its a mains feed from under the board).

Duncan, from your observation of the flashes and sparks bangs etc...

I noticed that in the second updated prototype with english translation that there are related flashes and bangs coresponding to applying the load of the start motor or from releasing it. On his wall are two light bulbs that dim rather drastically uppon applying a load. In the first video at time interval 00:34.12 - 00:34.75 is the first load disconnect and reconnect.
This happens again at:
00:39.84 - 00:40.40
00:44.84 - 00:45.60
00:48.58 - 00:49.04

Finally his system is up to speed and he disconnects the feed line. Now his system is in deceleration coast mode until he flips his switch at 01.06.00 at which time the lights again dim suggesting the load is again placed back on his workshop mains.

In the Second video I could not find any obvious power cords besides the one he disconnects, but the same tell-tale signs of load flashing can be seen at 07:49.56 when he finally gets his system to stay online and then again at the very end of his demo as he shuts off his system the workshop lights brighten right exactly at the same time he switches his switch at 13:53.71

So, even though there were multiple shots showing no board covering a cable and extra narration to convince us otherwise, the effects of the load on his workshop lighting shows me that both videos most assuredly to be fakes or deception.

Yeah I'm still undecided with this set up, I'm not disputing that It could be externally supplied regardless of it being on concrete or wood these guys have the camera and they have the time. also the things constructed of a tubular frame cables could go anywhere inside there and be quite hidden from view. Having said that an awful lot of money and time has been invested here and I see no rhyme or reason for faking it. The you tube viewing numbers wouldn't make a tin O'beans
I am also aware that there are some unknowns associated with flywheels.
IMHO it would also take someone with an awful lot of brass neck to invite a personal visit and inspection if the thing were a fraud, after all I know the first thing I'd want to check.
Its also significant that Romero is having some success with the system he's a very respected builder and tester in alternative energy circles.
Balanced against that as you say there are a few flashes going on. Perhaps its just wishful thinking based on my desire to see a working viable free energy device out in the world .. or rather more importantly someone being allowed to manufacture and sell such a thing. Well I don't know, I've still got my fingers crossed ever the optimist! (or nit wit)
