  • Placement of Switch on SJR 3.0?

Hey guys - maybe you know a quick fix? My rocker switch that I use to control turning off / on the Super Joule Ringer circuit is running hot. I'm pretty sure the amp draw is being pulled through the switch or either it's causing resistance. It's a three prong rocker switch (can't remember how it was hooked up but I might have to re-open the box it's in to check it out). It does have an LED for illumination to signal that it's on.

Any idea how this particular switch should be wired up? Here's the link to the switch I'm using: 10pcs Amber Yellow LED Car Boatround Rocker Switch Toggle on Off Control SPST | eBay

    Here's the circuit:

    Thanks!

This switch has three terminals one of which is brass plated while the other two are silver (color). Brass plated should go to the negative rail, opposite outer terminal to the positive of battery and middle one is switching positive to the circuit.

Don't you joule thief people deal with some pretty perverse voltages?

      That could be the problem.
