Hi all, a friend from NZ gave me the name of the inventor " Jeffery D. Baird" and I spend some time this eve. and did lot's search. Well, I couldn't fine the YT video totally was gone, but got you some pictures and the article here, guys. Enjoy it.

Gyula, thanks for the patent link, man great job. I looked but I couldn't find it.
I have no further info about this machine. But you know what: It's so darn easy to make it even more efficient this design using flywheel and propelling the engine outer edges of the flywheel, using simple pulse dc motor principle but using high frequency and high voltage power supply around 600 to 800 volts.
it will make this thing to fly....

That is Bob Teal's motor in a nutshell. I would like to see the circuitry though. I hope it doesn't resemble anything Bedini-style. I don't think there is much hope of obtaining a patent if so. The teal motor patent is public domain and can be manufactured and marketed by anyone, so "re-patenting" with slight modifications would be a waste of money, time, and more time when profits can be had immediately.

The Withdraw...

Hello Guys,

Great Thread, nice attempt to get a strong combination of Electromagnetic Forces and Mechanical Unbalances...


The only thing I see as a withdraw on this design...is the fact they all are using Magnetic Attraction, instead of Repulsive Forces.

The First pic's shows clearly huge solenoids pulling the rods and rotating crankshaft in a timely fashion (of course)...as also the diagram and pic's collage...with explanations.

The Abstract, from the cited patent above states this fact clearly...

..."So that by energizing the electromagnets, the pistons would be pulled (attracted) towards the electromagnets, in response to a timely applied electromagnetic field..."

There are many beautiful machines in YT related to solenoids engines...


I believe the strongest action we could get from an electromagnetic interaction...are their repulsive forces...however, we need to be able to counterweight assist this "half way" pulses...just like a Gas Engine does it...

It's similar to Teal's solenoid engine. Probably he got the idea from him, who knows. As far as the Bedini's principle goes as you know he uses permanent magnets and the coils for propulsion , I don't see any similarity here. This guy is used on his 3rd generation motor pancake type pull solenoids for propulsion.

I doubt that he had any back emf recovery circuit, but over all he sure have quite a bit of access generating power.

But to be able to get an continuous propulsion from electromagnetic interaction high frequency power supply is a "must", also freeing the coil from back emf clog this will further lighten the load of the circuit. All this requires
precise working circuit and proper value polypropylene capacitor that will match the impedance of the coil.

I don't think I have shown anything from Baird, I'll go look through my posts.

The similarities are there. Look at some of the details. The mechanics have very little, but alot to do with it. Lindemann did a good job with this in his Electric Motor Secrets lecture.

The coils can be rewound so many different ways. Some increase the field strength, some don't. I'll have to test these flat coil's strength at a fixed power supply. I already know of one design patented by Tesla.

It's not Back Electro Motive Force. It's a Transient. The magnetic field collapses generating a FORWARD voltage (EMF). This can be found by Voltage = change in the magnetic field / time. If you collapse the field at the speed of light, the voltage tends towards infinity.

However, have to take in consideration, that attraction forces (applicable to this type of mechanisms) have to "carry along" the mass weight of the body is pulling, in this case the pistons plus all the attached parts in the "joints"...while the repulsion pushes any mass "involved" in the same operation...to accelerate/increase its vectors through inertia and gravity forces on its favor...
