Im building a Rocket Lorena. Just got the combustion chamber done and am testing it. Works greats. Boils a kettle of water with a big handful of twigs.
Im just using mud, sand, straw. Not buying fire bricks. Making insulative mud mix instead. At the moment its just a Rocket Stove but it will evolve into a Rocket Lorena.

Looks great! Wow, boils a kettle with twigs! I believe it, I had a welder make me one of these for my alcohol still and it boils a dozens of gallons with pretty thin scrap wood. Not much smoke either when it gets going. These rocket stoves are awesome, didn't know about the Rocket Lorena. Do you use a template or do you just make a bunch of adobe with straw and get creative?
