Hello. I have not been on here in a while, but I have a few ideas. I have been experimenting with a few inverter circuits, and noticed some similarities to a bedini circuit. Has anyone tried changing the ssg coil to a transformer with a center tap primary?
I unfortunately cannot show the circuit at the moment, as I do not have a camera with me. However, I think that the circuit can be wired as follows ...
base trigger circuit hooked up to one side of primary and center tap, the other half of the primary connected to the collector/charge side.
The goal is to use the center tap as the connection point for the charge diode.
I understand that the primary may not have enough wire to be used for the trigger, however, I have transformers with a secondary center tap, which may alleviate that issue.
Another idea that I am having is to convert a basic inverter to allow radiant charging in addition to producing a 120vac output. I was thinking of modifying the circuit at the following link "http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/inverter.asp?"
I am thinking of basically adding a full bridge rectifier where the diodes would be.
Any thoughts on these ideas? Thank you for your time.
