Attracting "Opposites"

Interesting confirmation on LOA's application. However, we are erroneously assuming that males and females are "opposites" because we are falling victim to the physical predispositions of society. Outside the physical realm, all human beings are equal and have their own spiritual/metaphysical pull.

Once we realize each entity we come into contact with has their own direction, whether male or female, we can better identify our complimentary mate.

You may be N-S aligned, your respective true love would need to be N-S aligned as well in order to properly satisfy your needs. Falling victim to the physically based "opposites attract" non sequitur limits your chance at success.

Male/Female minds operate "differently" but the result and direction can be the same.

This is a complete joke. If it leads you to wealth and riches, then don't even bother. If that is your goal in life, then I feel sorry for you. It is a very selfish mindset and will eventually lead to much suffering and agony.

No matter how much money you get you'll never truly be satisfied. It is only when you begin to be thankful for what you have, and share with others that you will learn what true happiness is.

Many religions have different stories of rich men who lived very good lives in abundance and when they passed on, they lived on the opposite end of the spectrum, like the poor. It is not a far fetched idea. This is the law of equal balance, far superior to any 'law of attraction'. You can't just live a life doing little or no work, and expect to get away with it. Unfortunately many are conned into this type of thinking where wealth means success in life.

I've already done much searching for the truth, and I'll share some of what I found. Probably worth more than what those other guys are selling.

Here is also a quote from the Quran. There are some nice passages in it loaded with wisdom.

It gets even better. You'll notice that those who labour for their living usually have better health than those who rely on others' labours for theirs. It might be the 'easy life' but eventually you'll pay the price in either poor health, or other.

I felt the need to say this because this 'law of attraction' nonsense really bothers me. It's like a trap for the weaker brothers/sisters out there.

I feel I should go even further with my above post to try and explain my position a little better.

The reason that the idea of being able to get whatever you want is scam is common sense. Usually people want things that they don't need and if everyone were to get what they want, who would do the work?

Most people believe their success is living in comfort doing no work and while that may seem like happiness, it is a very fake kind. Eventually that lifestyle will become too fake and the human nature will kick in to want more. This sometimes leads to gross excesses and very bizzare hobbies. Yet if you take a look at someone who works all their life and creates things, they will be generally content doing that. Stagnating is being unprofitable, and is such a waste of an existance.

Let's take a look at the lifestyles of the Chinese for example. I'm sure they would love to be in our shoes. The workers who produce your electronic toys can't even afford them for the most part. How is that fair? Why should we be able to life the 'high life' while they suffer? Can we really apply this 'law of attraction' to them and just tell each and every one of them that they have the potential and blame their current situation on their mindset or thoughts? Hardly. Because without them, who will slave making our cheap products?

So you see, that for us to life abundant lives with comforts and riotousness (sex drugs alcohol) there are always those who must suffer. There is such a large divide that once fully exposed, many will weep and repent. This is why the US is starting to fail. The land of Oz is run by the wizard, and the wizard isn't much to be afraid of Just follow the yellow brick road (follow the money)

I agree with you on this one. Although having money does have a lot of merits and you can surely get access to all sorts of things and even get what you desire, but that's just not how things work. There's always something that producers can think of for you to spend on and you'll never be satisfied with just having an old version of something. I mean, you have the money, so why not spend on it, right? It'll never end and this will go on and on. You getting what you want with money and then becoming happy but only for a while because you will lose interest in that in a few weeks time.

Hence, the only way, I think, that you'll ever reach true happiness is through contentment. And that is not easy to do. It will probably even take you all your life to reach that ultimate state of contentment but as you go along trying to achieve this, you will feel better about yourself and you will see that there's much more to life than just becoming rich and successful.

delboy491, don't know where you get stuck, but aim low, belief is an important key, your first success will be with something you belive that coincidence could given you. But it wasn't coincidence. When you are certain about that, you are on your way. Next issue will be to accept the gifts you are given. It is as 'hard' as create them. That's where I am standing at the moment. At the same time, when you know it works your 'greed' and anxiousness to create results will vanish. When you know you can 'have it all' you can focus on more important things. Sounds weird perhaps, but it's the truth. You have to go there to understand.

When I knew it worked was when I needed like 20$ and found it on the ground at the right moment, at the right place, and with a certain 'sign' that meant something to me only. A few days ago I was searching for an item I want but I couldn't find it cheaper than 600$, money I don't have to spend. Then I found the same product in a webshop at 24$, the real stuff, no discount and other similar items at "full price" but the one that I wanted was the cheap one. I still almost get frightened when it happens. It is just as hard to accept the gift as it is to 'create' it.

I mention this in hope of giving you a clue to how you should proceed. You must accept the gift emotionally at the same moment you ask for it. The gift is not projected into the future, you must be certain and dedicated now. Do not expect, you must accept.

To be able to accept, you must accept basic things like yourself, the world, the people in it, etc. Your wishes can't manifest in a dreamworld. Understand the creation and the creator. Then become the creator you are. Go for it!

BE what you want to attract!

Gandhi didn't say ask for change or tell you to believe you will see change and furthermore, he didn't say to open up to receive change in the world. He said BE THE CHANGE.

If you are unlike what you want to attract and like attracts like, doesn't it make sense that you won't attract it since you are unlike what you want to attract? The only way to attract it is to become LIKE what you want to attract. The way to do that is to BE IT.

YOU MUST KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT

Too many people think they can simply visualize something and million dollar checks start rolling into their mailbox. They may also think that everything will automatically unfold for them and other naive assumptions. The truth is that because of the Law of Attraction and the applied Secret of Law of Attraction as explained here, I am more busy than I have ever been in my life!

Law of Attraction will pull the synchronicities in alignment for me, then I have to walk through the door. The more doors that line up for me, it is obvious that I will have a lot more work to do! That is what is desired of course. If someone expects to site on a couch and be brain dead and have all of life's bounty fall out of the sky with no work to do, then that means this type of person has no life and there isn't any way around this.

I found your article on LOA very informative and full of great insights, this being my very first encounter with the topic.

I would however like some clarification on the DEVISE method of applying the Law and my question is pretty.

I am from Ghana by birth and therefore practically have no chance of becoming the president of the US. or can I?
