He believes that the plant suffered hydrogen explosions and all is well now and it isn't as bad as Chernobyl. The level of mind control exerted on the masses by the main stream media is astonishing.
It amazes me how can nuclear scientist confuse hydrogen explosion with nuclear event. I was close (too close for my comfort) to Chernobyl site during the incident and had been supplied with data which were not to be disclosed to general public. Matter of fact, it never became a public knowledge that enormous effort and mobilizing on the scale comparable to Stalingrad defense prevented catastrophe which would render most of Europe uninhabitable for centuries. By any means, this isn't over yet and far from being safe or - using TEPCO jargon - "under control".
What is happening in Japan looks to me like a horrific deja vu with confusion, cover up, media control, conflicting statements and general public left in the dark. What is different in this particular case is that media blackout and even health organizations coverup extended worldwide. To me, any secrecy means sinister intents and centralized cover up. If this assumption is logical than it becomes logical that there is a centralized effort to keep a lid on this event. Question is: who and why is so concerned to keep it low profile and downgrading severity at the cost of human life, suffering and trauma. Who has long and powerful enough hands to control this globally?
Well, without pointing finger at culprit who owns 85% shares in nuclear industry worldwide? Who has enough persuading power$ to do that?
Stating that this is far less serious than Chernobyl maybe comforting but very far from the truth and this as well is far from over or "being under control" - with exception of media coverage control.

    • what is going on?

Unit 2 at Byron Nuclear Station (IL) Loses Power, Shuts Down - Unusual Event Level 2 - Jan. 30 - YouTube

If backup gen's kicked in immediately than where is this steam coming from? You have to overheat the coolant to cause pressure buildup, which has to be released. Smoke coming from the switching station? Possible overload of internal power grid caused by Solar activity? There was a release of substances to the air and I doubt that anyone is going to believe it is "beneficial" to us.

According to the utility known as TEPCO, about 6 liters [???] of water were found to have leaked onto the floor of the No. 4 unit building at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday [...]

[Tepco] believes it may have some connection with the recent cold weather or the explosions that took place at the plant in the early phase of the nuclear crisis.

The density of radioactive substances included in the water is estimated at 35.5 becquerels per cubic centimeter [35,500 Bq/liter], according to TEPCO.

            Source: NHK
            Date: Monday, February 06, 2012 20:48 +0900 (JST)

            - Attempts to cool the temperature in the No. 2 reactor of the disabled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant have only partially succeeded despite the injection of more cooling water. [...]

TEPCO says the rise in temperatures indicate that the flow of water in the reactor may have changed direction after plumbing work, and is no longer able to properly cool down the melted down nuclear fuel.

However, the utility says radioactive xenon has not been detected in gases around the reactor, and that nuclear criticality is not taking place. [...]

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Nuclear Safety Commission, Haruki Madarame, says that a recurrence of nuclear criticality is unlikely. [...]

            • Reactor No. 2 temperature breaches safety limit

Tepco Says Fukushima Reactor Temperature Breaches Safety Limit

[...] No. 2 reactor pressure vessel rose to 89.2 degrees Celsius (192.56 Fahrenheit) as of 8:00 a.m. today, higher than the 80 degrees limit, Naohiro Omura, a spokesman for the utility, said by phone today. [...]

Temperatures at the bottom of the No. 2 reactor vessel may have risen by about 40 degrees Celsius from 50.7 degrees Celsius since Feb. 1, even as the company increased the coolant being injected into the unit, raising questions about the validity the safety declaration.

[...] possible that unstable water flow into the unit may have kept the coolant from reaching part of melted fuel sufficiently, he said. [...]

                  • secret Tokyo evacuation scenario

Hydrogen explosions occurred at the No. 1 and No. 3 reactor buildings a few days after the quake. Radiation leaks forced some 80,000 residents to evacuate from near the plant and more fled voluntarily, while radioactive materials have been found in food including fish and vegetable and water .

Reactor No. 4 [...] pool caught fire and caused an explosion.

I noticed three scale 4 quakes within 27km radius from Fukushima within one day. All happening at 10km depth. Also on previous day - Feb 15, 2012

                    Than, I found this -
                    - "water, ascended from the Pacific slab because of underground pressure, is believed to have seeped into the Idosawa fault, triggering the massive Iwaki shake. A similar event may happen in the Futaba fault, the researchers think".

                    -

                    Dire warning or mere possibility?

I wonder if there is a link between recent geo disturbance, followed by faulty thermocouples which resulted in high temp. readings and the above..Maybe some faulty radiation monitor...

I would also add to this list that most nuclear sites, including this one were built on faults or potentially geologically unstable areas. Totally against any common logic.
