Slept ok last night, only one way could not sleep the other way but that was ok. Tiny bit sore today, but nothing like yesterday. I`m sure it wouldn`t be so good without the reiki! Thanks so much. More than helping with the pain though I believe it helped elevate my mood - which was ace. Pains can make me feel a bit weepy when it is very sore like that and it goes on all day, but I never got that. I felt gooood . Thanks again hun I`m so lucky I met you!!

I loved your idea of having a special gratitude journal filled with reiki healing energy so much that I'm going to look for a nice decorative book to start my own after I've received my attunement & hope to be able to do the same. My current journal is just in an ordinary notepad which I will also continue but I love the idea of having one that looks & feels beautiful filled with special affirmations, words, pictures & healing.

dearest S.J. & Sharyn, I would like to share your excitement and tell u how much i am soooo grateful for lesson 2 ... reading it was a beautiful journey ... it makes you wanna feel u'll do anything to get to that advanced stage where you can have the Rei-Ki right at your hands ... wow..

it also made me reflect on that, i reeeally need to work on myself in preparation for the sacred attunement process ...

let me ask a question ... ... how much does clutter affect ur energy ?... i assume it does affect it a lot ... i once read a book about "de-cluttering" ur life .. starting from ur thoughts and going all the way to ur surroundings in every way ... the book was explaining things from a "feng shui" point of view ... it was beautiful (too bad i lost it .. somebody had borrowed it from me and i just forgot who it was .. ) .. it talked about how u keep de-cluttering ur surroundings until u reach a point when every single thing u are surrounded with is something that you actually "love" ... not even feel "neutral" towards ... you gotta "love" everything u own .. the pieces of furniture..the clothes that u wear.. the tools u use .. the things around ur home..etc etc... and this way u allow the energy to flow more smoothly around you ..and allow urself to vibrate better ...

i have to make the confession now and face myself with this ... I NEED TO DE-CLUTTER MY LIFE ... BIG TIME ... What do you think dear Moxie ? ...

Excitement Is Building

The excitement sure is building in this group - it is so much fun to open up this forum and see all the smiling, happy dancing, joyful little additions to your posts.
I am so blessed to have you all in my life and so happy to be sharing this with you.
Everyone is going to have a wonderful experience as I watch you preparing daily for your attunement. And to think the first one is today in only a short little while

About the clutter - you are correct it is very freeing to be clutter free! The energy of the space just flows so much freer and it can certainly help us to feel more peaceful and serene when we are surrounded by things we love.
My best advice is to take it easy on yourself - a step at a time - just begin in one small area - like the desk in front of you. Once you have one small area clear you will feel sooooooo good you will want to clear more. Do not stress about it - enjoy the process and take your time.

My Attunement Experience Today!

I agree, I just love seeing the new threads so filled with peace and happiness and overspilling joy I have posted about my attunement today on the Pi Reiki forum that Moxie kindly opened for us! This should make it easier to chat and keep tabs on ourselves instead of emailing.

But if you wanted to know here I will add it too!

Today I had my first attunement via Skype. Here is my writeup, I hope it helps vanquish any worries people may have. And just to share a wonderful experience with you!

I connected with Moxie on Skype, the first time I've used it apart from the intial anon "test" so I was over the moon it worked and connected to Canada right away!

We had a nice chat, then I was asked me to put my hands together and I felt a tingle right away. I took a deep breath and relaxed. - ok maybe not quite *that* relaxed! LOL! I had my eyes closed and as driftingly quiet minded as poss.

I had my hands together and I thought I could "see" or rather sense through vision in the back of my head whispy white figures, in long white gowns (maybe 3? more?) behind me descending and around me. They were peaceful and I felt quite safe and protected. After that I didn't notice them again. I just felt good. After a few moments, while Moxie continued with the the work - I was to put my hands on opposite shoulders. I could feel a slight warmth coming more from the left hand.

A few moments later and Moxie let me know I was able to put my hands in my lap. My 3rd eye was next worked upon, I could feel my forehead tingle and slightly itch. A big smile spread across my face, as this feeling was quite strong

After this, we had a little chat and then we had a 15 minute break. I went to my bedroom, sat on my special meditation cushion and lit two of my favourite candles.

I thought of the benefits of Reiki, and felt amazing!

I have a habit of sometimes holding my arms out to the side, hands raised upwards and wooooo! I could feel them tingle all over! It felt AMAZING and I felt quite overwhelmed with appreciaton and gratitude at this great gift.

I felt my right hand twinge and tingle more as it caught up with the left, then both settled down. I could also still feel my forehead tingle slightly. It felt good!

I carried on with the meditation, got some more water, then it was 15 mins up and time to continue. At the end, I felt very peaceful and filled with love. We said goodbye, and I went to sit down for a few minutes to contemplate before opening my further emails. I then went to feed the birds and came back. I needed to wash my hands, and I was "afraid" if I did wash them, the tingling would stop! That I might accidentally wash the "gift" away. I know that is not possible, but it leapt into my mind briefly. I washed them thoroughly and they continued to tingle!

The feeling is quite unusual. I'd liken it to using a minted shower gel, or lightly brushing them amongst stinging nettles but without the extreme irritation and pain. Or, having picked up a hot tray out of the oven, and now it is some hours later and all that is left is a tingle as a memory. As the minutes tick by, they also feel smoother somehow. As though moisturised with an expensive lotion.

This is my experience so far, it is absolutely wonderful! Big thanks to Moxie, you are such a dear kind person. I am so grateful for this learning with you. It is perfect, I could not have chosen a better person than yourself. You are so patient, and put so much time and energy and effort into teaching us correctly, it is inspiring.

I look forward to practising now, a lot of learning first lol! And also looking forward enormously to reading everyone else's experience if you want to share I'd love to hear!

Maggie has told me that I should be ready in a couple of days to have my attunement. I am so thrilled & greatful to know that. I feared that I would be having to wait weeks to prepare myself - I am so impatient.

Just a lil update

Wow, I can't wait for you all to get your attunements.

The last two days I've felt so serene and peaceful (a little tired yesterday, but I felt that way before having the attunment so was just my way) today very different! Everything is flowing so, so smoothly. I am getting inspired idea, after inspired idea. I am practising my Reiki, I think it's important to build the faith and get the feel. Sometimes I feel warmth, sometimes not a lot. When that happens, I affirm that it is working and feel faith that it is and I am sure it is. It might be my imagination, but my plants seem to be almost squabbling for "who's next" lol I am having to work at patience, so this is good for me. I do one at a time, and try to stay at least a few minutes. It's so easy to feel impatient and let my eye wander to the next plant. It doesn't help that I have a LOT of plants lol! I'm finding the most beautiful feeling from flowering plants especially heavily scented ones such as roses. Just gorgeous!

My skin is feeling a tiny bit itchy, and a little irritated in the neck/shoulder region but I will try giving it some Reiki and intend it gets healed. It's not suprising really I think it is just a result of when I slept funny, who knew we could do some much damage in an hour or so of rest!! lol!

Can't wait to hear your findings, it really is a beautiful thing. Nobody be worried or scared! It is absolutely wonderful.

Hello! Did anyone get attuned today? I just can't wait to hear all your news! I'm on day 2, and feeling good

Yesterday when I was practising giving healing to my plants, I had the idea of just letting it flow (I really love that I don't actually have to DO anything that the Reiki energy has it's own intelligence and goes to the right places it needs to go! Magic!) And I decided because I'm a LOA girl, I'll imagine the plants already healthy and vibrant. Then I came across this quote today! I just love it and it appears timely

What a healer really does

Question: I use the flow of energy in healing a lot. How do I best use that flow?

Abraham: whether you are healing yourself or you are wanting to influence the healing of the first thing to recognize is that the sickness or cellular imbalance has already caused a request for energy. The cells themselves know what they want to stay in balance.

So when you see someone who is sick and as a healer you want to assist them, the first thing that you want to understand is that they're already doing Step 1, because their sickness is causing them to ask in a more powerful than ever way. And even if the conscious thinking human weren't saying "I'm sick I want to be well", the cells of his body are asking and the asking is already well underway and flow is already going regarding this individual. Step 2 is already taking place: the asking and the answering have already taken place. So what you are as a healer is a facilitator in helping them to relax and allow what they've already asked for and allow Source's answering to occur.

Sometimes healers see themselves as needing to goose up the flow and we say that more flow in the light of resistance is counterproductive in every situation. That would be like watering your flowers with the fire hose. There are healers, as they approach people who are out of balance actually believe that if they can harness this Source Energy and focus it towards this vessel that is in need of healing that that is the answer and we say that this is utterly counter productive. Because all of the healing power that that person could ever want, need or endure, is already being summoned by these delicate cells and answered by Source, who understands the intimacy of your physical apparatus.

So a healer helps by preparing the physical vessel for the receiving of the energy and to see the vessel as not broken.
