Cops to California Voters: Legalize It! | Criminal Justice | Change.org
The letter's release comes after all nine former heads of the Drug Enforcement Agency -- that is, the former heads of a bureaucracy with a vested interested in maintaining costly drug prohibition, regardless of its failure -- wrote Attorney General Eric Holder last month expressing "grave concern" about Proposition 19 and asking him to suppress the will of California voters should they embrace legalization. (See Firedoglake founder Jane Hamsher's response).
-----------------------------------
Just more proof the federal government does NOT cater to the will of
the citizens. They have their own agenda and the voters aren't a part
of it.
This looks like legalizing it in a big way and not just medicinal. Possibly
so that any adult can buy it like at a smoke shop and simply pay tax.
Will generate billions in revenue, stimulate the economy in California
and reduce crime. Then, it should be an obvious ok for growing hemp
for industrial use there - another massive multi-billion dollar industry
waiting to happen.
Here is a response against the DEA agents that don't respect the
constitution.

, it should be legal as its the ONLY safe MEDICINE /stimulant in the world
. Should be legal in PRINCIPLE. Lets not forget its the highest grossing bio mass crop, that's why DuPont and the petrochemical industry conspired to make it illegal, the phony government sponsored medical and refer madness stuff is all propaganda and part of the suppression.
