Great Weekend!

Mary and I went on a ride to the Shelby National Forest this last Saturday.

We always have fun riding together, and Saturday was even more special.

We chose to ride through this forest that borders the Mississippi river so that we could take some pics for a friend who is in Iraq and misses all the trees from him home state of Alabama. We have already sent them off to him.

I had a '45 trike and a ''66 sportster' (is that how you call it... I've forgotten ?) when I lived in CA... loved riding around in the country side! Have to say though, (no offense...lol) I never got the 'window thingy' on the bike!

Thanks for sharing... it did bring back some memories!!

Those are wonderful! What camera are you using?

It is a Kodak CX6445 4.0 mega pixel that I bought 3 or 4 years ago. Old heavy and clunky by today's standards. But it gets the job done.

Yep, yuppies, old farts, and wannabes have windshields to keep the bugs out of their teeth.

Real bikers do NOT use windshields.
