What makes this study unique is that it focuses on feelings of connectedness or bonding with some type of entity in the universe
that feels much bigger than oneself. I know, it's easy to dismiss this type of language as new-agey or woo-woo.
However, this study offers intriguing empirical evidence that there is some type of neurobiological link between oxytocin and spiritual connection.
