All the donators should have receipts, and in my opinion they should be asking
for their money back until a properly organized accounting structure is
implemented. Depending on what premise they donated on they may have legal
recourse to claim a reinbursement of their donations, Especially if
misappropriation of funds is occurring somewhere.
As far as Sterling goes I don't like the way he spends crowd funding, and he is
like the pot calling the kettle sooty (political correctness) but the article
touches on some valid points even if all names were left out and the specific
situation involved other characters.
I think if forgetting all the specific characters there needs to be proper accounting of any publicly funded organisation.
Are the donations tax free or deductible ? If tax needs to be paid is it being paid.
All the equipment under the sun is no use if there is no stable environment to use it.
Even though I may have some issues with Eric i am a compassionate human
being, I know what it is like to suffer, mentally and physically and financially.
It would be great to see Eric in his own Lab where he has all the say.
But who would risk his wrath to try to work for him or with him ?
I have a similar problem trying to find people to help me do farm work, people
don't use common sense and break stuff, it happens to me all the time, If I
feel there is no hope for them I tell them to go away and do it all myself, even when
putting up kilometers of fencing. Can't be avoided, good help is hard to find.
And if you want a job done right then do it yourself.
In my time I've had to learn how to take people to court and represent myself.
I've had to learn many things so that I can do it myself. I build my own
buildings and just about everything else. I can't even trust people to mow the
yard properly and do other things without committing machine abuse.
Mostly it pays not to allow others to use my machines because of it. A lot of
people are almost useless at most things, but they are still people with
feelings and rights. If people want to be useless it is entirely their right, just
let them go, sack them. Who is the boss.
