  • high frequency high voltage pulse transformer

    hi everybody,

I am looking for any device capable of producing high voltage pulse at high frequency (possibly in the MHz range)

The best I could find until now is neon sign transformer such as this:

It is 10kV, but output frequency around 35 KHz max

I heard about laser power supplies about the same Voltage at a much higher frequency, but couldn't find any piece of information on the internet..

Do you know any device that could do the job? (10 KV @100 KHz or up to 1 MHz)

    cheers

Oh man ! I would like to have this kind of 10kV neon transformer to replicate Don Smith device.

You can get up to few Mhz just by using spark gap or rotary spark gap or any interrupter or using good old vacuum triode. No read to use device as I know.
