    The 2 flows are North and South magnetic poles that travel in opposite directions into each other. This is magnetic current.

    so if I'm understanding correctly, a coil is to be involved for bemf to occur

    @ Iotayodi:
    One is clockwise the other counter clockwise and as they pass each other they create current.
    can you give ma any link or what is this effect called please? I've never thought of it this way, that when two flows meet a current is created, btw thanks all for the help

    BEMF is NOT the voltage/current created by a collapsing magnetic field. What you are referring to is an inductive spike or transient voltage.
    You are right I should have worded it differently. There is no device in the dc circuit being pulsed to create bemf. No type of motor or pulsed dc..

    If your talking about the drawing the polarity is correct. The polarity is wrong on both ends on the top bulb.
    You can not separate one directional flow into a separate wire. These two flows travel in opposite directions also. One is clockwise the other counter clockwise and as they pass each other they create current.
    There is no device in this dc circuit that has a collapsing magnetic field to create bemf.

    Maybe because ed also says that only when the current flows it flows in both directions. He states that you can not have a flow only in one direction, a bit like magnetic poles. Your diode is blocking the flow in one direction which according to ed will also stop the flow in the other direction. But then how does the current flow through the second bulb if it is also going through a diode?

    the second bulb doesnt light up because the diode is stopping current flow that is trying to come from the positive of the battery ( conventional current flow i mean )

    Why doesn't the 2 bulbs light up, if we have bi directional current flow? After reading Magnetic Current by EL more than once and reading from other sources can conclude that there is a bi current going on when a circuit is closed, but why doesn't the second bulb light up? Is the Bemf the interaction between the aether(magnetic aether) from an outer position with a wire.



    If the bemf current flow was conventional as the emf then it would seek the other wire as a route and will light the bulb.
