    Hi Tyson,

    That seems to be true with my series FL lamps 4 8 watts fl lamps flashing intermittently as I increased the pot
    Will try to reverse the two primary windings and see if it will stop flashing

    Ive got great results with this really really simple circuit -

    280 ohms reistor
    flyback
    2 TIP 31C's in a darlington pair.

    Lighting multiple CFLs, including the 72W, on 1.5V @ 700 mircoamps!!!!

    Hi.I just found out that you can just short the centre xenon leg to one outer xenon leg so no need for a cap.
    @Slider.Thanks for that vid.Strange that there is no interference with the leds whatsoever,considering all the switching going on.
    The pseccy seems to be a seperate circuit and dosen't seem to care about noise.
    I am goin to try your pseccy but i think i will start with the very basic setup you showed earlier and work my way through.
    It looks like free energy to me and I hope I can get it going and do some experiments with it.
    The type of Led seems important.What is the turn on voltage of the green ones as they seem best?
    What is the altitude where you live slider?Thanks.Jonny.

    Hi kyle, I am referring to a bifilar primary, so just like a joule thief, hook up one strand with the opposite polarity of the other strand. Though I think it should work with a true center tap reversed as well, though have not tried that.
    I'm speaking about the flip flop circuit for any not following my posts.

    Video here for Jonnydavro, which may be of interest to all. The 15 LED's are connected via an AV plug to the circuit and to a stake in the ground outside the house.
    Whatever I do with the inverter circuit doesn't make a hair of difference to the LED's, they remain on

    Kinda criss crossing a couple of present projects and perhaps relating to quantumuppercuts thoughts above..

    Thats a good goal! I have made some earth energy receivers and they worked well. I just have not found anything that beats a solar panel with a small inverter and battery.

    I can run 15 lights off one and never lose power.

    The small amount of output power on the JT type circuits is not much. It can run a ton of LEDs and I love building all the different configurations.

    A 2 watt LED bulb pulls right at 0.021 amps or .021 mAs from my inverter at full brightness.

    edit: oh patrick, could you maybe apply a regular load to that 7AH and connect meter so it loads it down to similar level, just to know a ballpark amperage, thanks.
