    Crystal Set Scenario

    HEADWATERS:
    In a sense we have a crystal set tuned at say 76hz, picked up from maybe the sun or the vibration of the earth rotating or moving through space. We don’t know which but the sun puts out the full radio spectrum, so I suspect a suitable device could be built to pick it up.

    Method of Extraction
    To extract this and make it usable we use instead of a gang tuning capacitor the following:

    1) we wind “bobbin coils” on two separate ferrite iron cores,
    2) these core’s, parallel to each other, are moved closer or farther apart until tuning is achieved between coils.

    While acting as capacitance the coils also step up the voltage and impart this onto the iron core. The coils are wound on cores in opposite directions to achieve a polyphase effect between the two cores. Now, the resultant “ringing” of the iron core’s at 76hz with a now stepped up to say 25 or 35 volts will cause the random flying atoms near each iron core to be imparted with the 76hz at 30v and will be placed in an orderly orbit around iron cores to be collected for our use. Lets say each iron cores bobbin coil consist of: Primaries say 4, and two sets of secondaries, 2 coils for controls, and 8 coils for our main “CURRENT COLLECTOR TUBE“, and this is per iron core. The 2 control coils run the variable trigger 30v oscillator. The 8 CURRENT COLLECTOR TUBE coils provide our high voltage (2 to 4 thousand volt’s) needed to collect sufficient current to run motors or “lifters” grids through the devices OUTPUT TUBES. This is our VOLTAGE. This covers the two "rod's" that were "pushed in" to turn on the device. They were nothing more than simple ferrite iron rods, transformer cores call them. These cores can be partially inserted into the primary to bring crystal device up, at the same time into control coil for a load, then when controls were up the core's are pushed all the way in to finally couple in high voltage secondary to bring current collector tube on line. Inductive coupling no "magic".

      Crystal Device (Headwaters)

      Thought's on Frequency
      I've been thinking again, even though we are using ELF to run crystal device (headwaters), when signal goes through the CC Tube breakdown gap it will most likely be a higher frequency due to the rapid interaction between opposing forces. Of course it will always have the underlying harmonic of the original signal in there somewhere. This should put the cloud around CC Rod at a more friendly frequency. That Tesla illumination stuff is something else! Good Stuff, you know he proposed a theory of putting towers around the perimeter of a city and create a "sheet dome" of light so at night no street lights are needed and no dark alleys, cool, use a dimmer make it adjustable. The man liked towers.

          Quite interesting, thanks for posting that. A little more complicated than Rebys57's unit, it might bring up some ideas - especially in the crystal input or "headwaters". It seems to be using all 4 phases of the tank cirucit to fire the tubes at the precise time needed. Also, it's interesting how they use the positive feedback in the circuit. Rebus57 uses the "Gimmick" or twisted wires for the feedback. The tank circuit might be an easier way to go.

          Either way it's going to be quite the trick to get the whole system tuned. I've spent this whole week working with various methods of amplifying an input signal - at least the ones I could find from my ground and/or antenna and have had very little luck with them so far. I've even built several of Dr. Stifflers units as they are similar to what Rebus's "headwaters" will be doing, the best I get is a very dim LED - a good start but far from what is needed....

                  Rebus57 Design Update

                  Message from Rebus57 regarding design changes.


                  Here is some more food for thought:

                  I was going to take my 2 LED blinky cir,(Ramsey electronic kits), and have it fire two triac's PNP to alternatly charge, (tickle), primaries on ferrites and try to use that to make the rest of the device to function properly. The flash rate can be easily adjusted to simulate any freq. I was only going to use 1 to 3vdc+ through triacs to try to make it function, more if needed.

                  Also I was thinking that a tube like the trigger tube may be required between cc tube and rod to act as a diode, bummer another part to make. Because of using RF no heater is needed in these tube's for flow, cathode will be minus potential, the grid fed by cc tube and the plate to cc rod, also connected to plate/rod are the output tube cir. this makes output cir isolated from headwaters to prevent any backfeed from shutting down headwaters. This makes more sense, this was most likely an integral part of cc tube. I told ya'll I was still working this out but it's coming to me. by the way if you haven't looked already check out the old pics of Morays device you will need to google it I don't know address sorry, but you can see the ferrites on one end and output a distance away, anyway it is inspiring. Also check out some of his tube patents they are for medical stuff but they are two tubes in one envelope, cool stuff.

                  It is my belief that the man made electrons have a much stronger magnetic effect about them than natural occurring electrons, this magnetic component causes opposition to flow and heat build up. This is why I believe it is important to begin with the natural. Along those lines, I was thinking, with a trigger tube like device as a diode between cc tube and rod it could be fired at any freq we like while the crystal device runs at a more attainable higher frequency, rod could run as low as Schuman freq. or whatever testing brings out. Somehow, don't know but I believe the ferrites play a key roll in the collection of proper electrons to be used to ring atmosphere around cc rod. So this is part of my dilemma, I too would like to artificially induce a high voltage directly to output tube but the tube design is not the same as with proper headwaters circuit. so that's why I decided on tickling the ferrite primaries so rest of device would accept headwaters when worked out and be capable of putting out full power right away.

                  The above changes are some of the things that will be in the new drawing and it is the primary reason why my coils are not finished in the pic. the small ones on the wood dowel are mock-ups and the dowel will be replaced with the ferrites. I told you mock-ups are part of my thought process, a lot of times it's easier to really look at something, put it in your hand and let it sit around for a while and think about all aspects of it's function. This I do a lot. My output tubes should be real close, they have an adjustable gap to allow for tweaking and may require a wrap of finer wire cloth over larger cloth, larger cloth sized for designed amp's output, small cloth to prevent interference with headwaters detector cir. Don't know only testing will tell. If no one has one working by the time I have time to work on mine I have some really great directions to move forward on and progress looks way more promising now.

                    My head is going to explode, I wish i was an electrical engineer right now. I'd like to contribute to the thread by practical experimenting, but it seems I really need to go back to electrical basics first.

                        Evaluation of Concept

                        We're in the process of evaluating this concept through experimentation. So far, the evaluation has been very positive. We are looking at many angles trying to find a reliable expedient method of building this machine.

                        So, if by looking at the Rebus circuit you have any ideas we'd like to hear them. We want to make a proven working arrangement available to all as soon as possible. Thanks in advance. Rebus57 is very busy right now and doesn't have that much available time to help us.

                          Summary

                          Hi Proleter,

                          I will try to put together a brief summary of how this device functions soon. The basic concept is a lot easier than the circuit drawing makes it look. Of course there are many aspects to this device and each subassembly needs to be made to the most exacting specs to insure the best outcome.

                          If you have any specific questions for Rebus, please ask them. He may be willing to give you a response. He's a very humanitarian type guy.

                            Simplification of Rebus Device

                            One of our electrical gurus has clarified some aspects of the Rebus circuit.


                            The "headwaters" on both the Pyrazo and Rebus device are simply crystal radio circuits for picking up a signal. Rebus is trying to amplify the signal and turn it into high voltage where the Pyrazo is amplifying it by sending the back emf from the secondary of the first transformer back to the antenna to "hammer" the environment in hopes it will hammer back.

                            If you think of it as a sound system, a microphone and an amplifier. When someone talks into the mic the sound is amplified and sent to the output speaker. If the mic is to close the output speaker sends the noise to the mic which is amplified and sent back - over and over again. Loud high pitched squeals are the result which is a feedback oscillation. This is basically called positive feedback. If you could put something between the mic and amp speaker that would work as a load, you could extract energy from the feedback and control the amount of feedback that occurs. So what we need to do is build a receiver (crystal radio circuit in Pyrazo and Rebus drawings) that is capable of being a transmitter as well as an amplifier of the input signal.

                            Notice in Rebus's drawing the crystal circuit has a long coil through the middle of it (267 ft of wire), on one end (left side) he brings back a wire and twists it around the input of the crystal signal input or antenna - he calls it a gimmik, also called a coherer. The long coil is to amplify the signal of the small coil of the crystal circuit and send it back to the input. So in reality we have a receiver an amplifier and transmitter.

                              Bifilar wound coils

                              Hi all,

                              This may be interesting to you:


                              I found some information on bifilar wound coils which states that these provide a significantly bigger voltage gain at the 1/2 wave resonance frequency. I noticed in the picture that there are a lot of separate bobbin coils, and I wondered why this is. It may be that these are supposed to be bifilar wound. I don't know, I'm just guessing, but perhaps this is helpful to you.
