Exactly. The purposes and goals of this type of event, if staged, would be:
1. to cause widespread panic and fear among the public
2. to test the deployment of martial law in a large metropolitan environment
3. to drive home public perception that city-wide or region-wide lock-downs can be good things, and will always be called for the purpose of protecting the public from imminent danger
4. to portray to the public the idea that massive movements of combat ready federal, state, and city law enforcement officers, armored military style vehicles, and door to door searches, is normal and to be expected during any terror induced event, and that all participants are to be welcomed and celebrated as heroes.

Think about it, while remembering everything you saw while glued to the TV. If this was staged for the above purposes, were the above resultant goals realized? Would this experiment be regarded by TPTB as a resounding success, and a template to be used for future lock-downs of entire states and regions for the purpose of confiscating weapons and rounding up resistors?

These images have obviously been "photoshopped," as can be seen when comparing the third and fourth photos, but wouldn't it be nice if states and towns actually had the foresight to utilize such signs. I especially like this first one:

Strange, but true. And what a great idea!

In the 1979 election for governor of Louisiana, a man named Luther Knox was fed up with politics as usual, and being left only with the choice of voting for the lesser of two evils. He was extremely disappointed with the list of candidates running for office that year, and in order to give like-minded Louisianans a better voting option, he decided to enter his own name on the ballot, after legally changing his name to "None of the Above." A great idea, but unfortunately the name change wasn't finalized until after the election. Knox competed in several elections between 1963 and 1995, running for sheriff, governor, state senate, US senate, and even US President, but never won in any of these contests. Makes me wonder, though, how many people would have chosen to vote for "None of the Above" in the 2012 presidential election.

Update on Saudi national Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi

Serious questions remain concerning the Saudi national who was originally identified as "a person of interest" regarding the Boston Marathon bombings. A Capitol Hill hearing was held April 18th, in which Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano refused to answer

• At the time the event file was created for Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, it indicated he was special advisory optionwithout full vetting.someone later went in and tried to destroy both the original event file and an amended versions

Even the amended record raises serious questions, most notably:

1. Why was Alharbi allowed entry to the United States, and issued a visa, while he was identified as having "1 prior event," was on a "no fly" list, and designated as "inadmissible to the U.S. under INA 212(a)(3)(B)", which is a terrorist designation from the Patriot Act?

2. With the obvious red flags in Alharbi's record, why was Alharbi issued a visa despite the fact that "SAO was not completed prior to visa issuance?" SAO is a Security Advisory Opinion which was certainly appropriate in Alharbi's case, and which should have labeled him a very high security risk.

3. Who was responsible for exercising the special advisory option allowing Alharbi to be granted a visa? Since normal procedures, if followed, would have prevented Alharbi from gaining the visa, it is obvious that negative findings were overruled at the request of some high level person in ICE or DHS who "advised" underling agents to approve the visa regardless of the negative findings. And what was their reason for doing so? Were they requested to do so by an even higher level government official? We'll probably never know, unless some Congress persons have the fortitude to go after some real answers and hold persons involved in the cover-up accountable. And that, in my opinion, isn't likely.

One wonders how Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev could have shown such ingratitude to Americans after living for years off welfare subsidies paid for by American taxpayers. Tamerlan, his wife Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, and their 3-year-old daughter received welfare payments through 2012 when it was then determined that they no longer met income guidelines because Katherine was working up to 80 hours a week as a home health aid while Tamerlan stayed at home or worked out at the gym. Despite Tamerlan's "need" for welfare assistance, he was somehow able to afford the C-class silver Mercedes Benz seen behind him in this photo:


I wonder if that's an "Obama Phone" he's holding, and if it was used to detonate the pressure cooker bomb near the Marathon finish line.

The entire Tsarnaev family appears rather ungrateful for all the welfare assistance they received in the Boston area. Tamerlan's father, Anzar, came here on a 90 day tourist visa in 2002, with then 8 year old Dzhokhar in tow, and then obtained political asylum, which immediately qualified him for welfare housing, food, and medical assistance, and enabled him to bring the rest of the family to America and to tap even more welfare benefits. The application for political asylum had obviously been a hoax, as the aunt of the Tsarnaev brothers has stated that the parents returned to their home country for several visits, something they would not have done if they were fearful of persecution or prosecution. And both parents are now living back in their homeland by choice. It seems they didn't think they were getting enough good stuff from taxpayer handouts, and evidently that is why the mother, Zubeidat, stole $1600 in designer clothes from a department store last year, and then skipped out on her court date to leave the US. No doubt the ungrateful Tsarnaev brothers qualified for free educations at Boston high schools and the universities they attended, also paid for on the backs of hard working American taxpayers.

For a family that was given so much in the form of financial assistance and opportunities, it almost seems inconceivable that the Tsarnaev brothers would have wanted to do so much harm to the very people who made all of that possible. But then it would appear that the majority of Americans who are also living off the welfare system have come to expect these handouts as a way of life, and don't feel they owe anything in return for it, least of all an expression of gratitude.
