R. Callaway's pulse motor

Hey. I was looking through the internet for a one battery system pulse motor that feed back into the power battery. I came across a page on Keelynet on this Callaway variation of a Bedini/Adams motor. It is from 2000. It uses a mono coil, a reed switch, and a DC to DC relay. I have the parts on order for the build to experiment for myself, but I was wondering if anyone here has experiance with this design. Is it a cop greater than 1 design.
