Wow Keoi Your read that fast!!!

I am still working on it. It is blowing my mind time after time.

I keep underlining, reading, re-reading, going back and putting it all together.

There is so much in this book that I knew, but I had no basis for knowing it other than experience and common sense.

(and I have had my head handed to me on a platter by "learned people" more than once for not being able to offer any "proof")

I am now learning how what I have "known" works, and also that there is much "scientific proof" of it.

To really simplify it, so far-at page 137, the entire book is just explaining the science behind the milliena old proverb:

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

Understanding how & why this simple proverb works is quite interesting!

I understand, You are what you think".
I live it daily. I am most likely the most positive person on the planet and put my trust in the higher mind.
Which without doubt will pick the best of the best scenario every time if we with our free will allow. But, I do have that free will issue and I with my free will want to make the choice This is the big problem with all of us Divine mortals, in our own God like way we still can make the choice, be it right or wrong.
Let's say you are having a particular problem in your life that you want to have turn out in a certain way, but, that is not necessarily the best way from the perspective of the higher mind. But, you with your free will mind can not see that far into your future to know that the choice of the higher mind is better. What do you do? This is what was not answered, it was only alluded to.
Positive thinking will not get you there unless the good old subconscious agrees with whatever may already be preprogrammed there. He proves in the book that the programming of the subconscious can and often overrides.
In the book he proves that we are not the sum of our parts, but something greater that is outside of ourselves. In essences he has also proven reincarnation and karma as well. It is in the book also.
Ok, going back to my question above about a particular problem and not being able to look that far forward. I am meaning looking not just through this life but the others past and forward. Then again we throw in the darn ole free will into the mix. So, what do we do?
Just, knowing the higher mind, is in the drivers seat doesn't resolve the issues that you are playing out around yourself. If you decide to over ride it all with your free will, you might from the big picture perspective be making a terrible mistake or are you really just following the Higher Mind????
The age old question is still there. So, what do you do?

Quite interesting!!

I've heard some of the conclusions and political messages that Dr. Horowitz includes in the book, but that particular evidence and science info is very new and very cool. Also the revelations about Da Vinci.

(I did a quick read of about 1/2 the book and skimmed a bit of the rest.)

I will post some of the figures. They are about the DNA structure and how it relates to the universe, music, water crystals, etc.

I think I'd like a study partner to figure the whole book out. I was doing a quick read until I got to a part where it said not to proceed if you couldn't answer yes to all the questions. . .

well after reading your post....what it was that came to me me was having faith and not interferring with the awesomeness that the higher mind/god/universe has instore for us/me.....faith and trust, and letting go of the need to control....control is really an illusion, and i beleive that once we let go have faith and trust the process, that is where we DO have control, although it is still challenging....for me it is a spiritual journey and a process and paths has definitley aided in that among some of the other wonderful things i have learned about since hangin out here.....cheers, and LOVE,

It mos def is interesting the things he reveals. When I first read the book, I read it in one seating, well into the AM. I just couldn't put it down. started reading it a second time a few weeks ago and stopped midway, but I will most surely finish it and prolly read it a third time in the coming months. LOL.

That sure sounds like an interesting proposition. A "study partner." It's been quite a while since I "studied" anything. Last time I studied something in that sense of the word was back in the college. LOL. I think I would like to partner you, but the only thing I 'fear' is that I might not go at the pace that you might wanna, either because I get distracted/slowed down by other things (and I can think of many that most likely will), or any other issues I can think of. But if that won't be a problem with you, then do lets do it. Lets 'break the code'. LOL.

the book

hello all.....I am learning sooooooo, very much....and it is a mind boggling experience but it is so awesome once the boggledness passes and i am inspired once again.

I just got the book today from my public library and am gonna sit down and read to my hearts content.....I am soooo, excited.
I also got my library to order in the matrix energetics book...and they had to borrow the holograghic universe from another library.

but i got them...yipeee.
And my library will be the first to hold the matrix book in B.C.....for now anyhow...yeah...and soooooo, coool.

Can ya'll tell that i am pumped.

Let's give it a try, as you say :

Lets 'break the code'.

Ok I just re-read chapters 1 and 2. Basic points are:

- A code is a system of symbols.

- Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man maps God's core creative technology which has been used throughout ages in such things as pyramids and Solomon's Temple.

- The purpose of the book is to advance spiritual evolution and make Da Vinic's genious available to all.


(If there were any exercises in the chapter I would have provided the answers I got to them as well.)


Now please let me know if I got anything wrong (to your understanding) or left out anything very important (well this is just the beginning so that may be hard to know, but if anything sticks out).


Then you can do what I did for the next chapter or two . .sound ok?

BOB book review

I finally finished Biology of Belief.

My copy is full of underlines, asterisks and notes.

The key points that I got out of the book are:

Last year a new study, based on the results of a ten-year survey of government statistics, came up with even more dismal figures. [Null, et al 2003] That study concludes that iatrogenic illness is actually the leading cause of death in the United States and that adverse reactions to prescription drugs are responsible for more than 300,000 deaths a year.

There are hundreds of scientific studies that document what many of us have known...thoughts control our life...not just in the attitude arena, but in the BIOLOGICAL arena also.

We can change our biology, our genetic make up, by our thoughts.

Here are a few quotes from the book-

Thoughts, the minds energy, directly influence how the physical brain controls the body's physiology.

Biological behavior can be controlled by invisible forces, including thought....a fact the provides the scientific underpinning for pharmaceutical-free energy medicine.

The actions of the subconscious mind are reflexive in nature and are not governed by reason or thinking.

In humans as well, the fundamental behaviors, beliefs and attitudes we observe in our parents become "hard-wired" assynaptic pathways in our subconscious minds. Once programmed into the subconscious mind, they control our biology for the rest of our lives...unless we figure out a way to reprogram them.

Postivie thoughts have a profound effect on behavior and genes, but only when they are in harmony with subconscious programming.


The book is absolutely chock full of studies, explanations and easy to understand analogies, showing that we are energy based life forms, and that our subconscious thoughts control not only our actions and attitudes, but also, to a great degree, our physiology (our physical health, or dis-ease).

If I did not know better, it would be easy to conclude that the book was written as a primer on the fundamentals of that underpin the PATHS Modules.

As I read through the book, experiencing amazement after amazement at the science that backs up PATHS and some other energetic modalities...I reached the end of the book and experienced the biggest shock in reading the book!

In the entire book he explains how important subconscious thoughts and subconscious energy are in the control of who we actually are, but he also states that it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to change subconscious programming. He specifically states many times that changing conscious thought is NOT enough!

WHAT????

In the 2.5 page addendum he talks about PSYCH-K. PSYCH-K is a modality for reprogramming conscious thought via affirmations. I have been familiar with PSYCH-K for several years. It is a modifed (hopped-up) affirmation modality.

It absolutely does work (as do all properly written affirmations), but it also takes a lot of work, and it is comparatively ineffective when looking at so many other energetic modalities like the SCIO or PATHS.

In conclusion, the book is an amazing compendium of proof that if we want to experience improvements in physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, we need to address our subconscious programming.

Bruce Lipton & Rupert Sheldrake

Hi, I don't have time to check this forum often (working full time and going to school), but am so greatful that I checked this today. I am signing up for this seminar today.

I live in Seattle so this is very convenient.
I have Bruce Lipton's books (Wisdom of Your Cells, Biology of Belief) on my Ipod and listen to them quite a lot. There is a lot of info in those books and I am fascinated.

Kevin is right, Bruce makes a compelling argument for PATHS. I have been on Holosync for almost 3 years and absolutely love that program, but something was missing until I found PATHS. I had "cleared the decks" so to speak of all my childhood garbage with Holosync, but needed something like Paths to move me forward.

PATHS is awesome. My relationships have all deepened. I received a healthy raise within 1 month of being on PATHS. I could go on with this as this list is long, but the main point is that I feel incredibly lucky every day.
