I think MadMack said his was 30 degrees in an 8 pole motor, I may be wrong, but what's important is that the distance between stator magnet and the next ramp is 1.5 - 2 times the distance between...

Hi all,

attached just a rough hand drawing. Not included is the distance between a stator magnet and the next ramp, (in case of more than 2 setups around the motor), which should be equal to 1.5 -...

Ufo, nice drawing, but there are big differences from what Madmack described. Read his post nr.36.

Dave, I believe the stator magnets are rotated also by 30-45 degrees.

Dave,

sorry if I asked, but after your latest video I got confused because of what you wrote in post 14:

Actually I don't care about speed up. What we're after is a coil, be it with or...

Hi Madmack,

you said the magnets axis shouldn't be in a straight line with the rotor centre if I recall correctly, should they be rotated by about 45 degrees like in Bedini's drawing?

thanks,...

Dave, but do you get acceleration, or at least no deceleration if you short your AIR coils?

I did pay attention and is why I wrote post nr.34

It's more based on experimentation than an idea.

that's great and clears it up! No resonance at work.

Matt, I know what happens when you drop a magnet down a pipe, or run one across a copper surface. But in an open coil where no current is flowing I don't see how Lenz can work against the magnet? Or...

Hi Matt,

I never noticed that. Would have to check that accurately. Normally, no current no Lenz, no slowing down.

You said you've calculated the resonates of your coils. I'm sure you've...

Shylo, with resonance I mean the true resonance of a coil. If you drive a coil that starts approaching the resonant peak it will load down the prime mover, even if the coil is unloaded.

Hi Dave,

This test was with air coils, so the only things that can slow down the rotors with all the AIR coils in place are two:

- A bit of added air friction, but this shouldn't account for...

Hi MadMack,

thank you for sharing. I've made attempts at this in the past so I'm interested of course. From what you wrote I think I get what you are describing, although I'm more of a visual...

Hi guys,

I just want to share the following thought. See the attached graph showing the performance curves of a conventional generator versus the Kromrey generator.
The peak power of the two is...

What a bunch of crap! Who's talking about resonance? Of course if you bring a generator coil to resonance, be it at its own resonant frequency, be it with the help of a tuning cap, the prime mover...

Steve, I agree. In fact what I'm looking for is a coil (possibly air core) that doesn't affect the prime mover when loaded with a certain load. When that is found and working, when shorted, it...

Dave, sorry. I misread and didn't realise the three examples were about air cores… Well, this means I'll have to investigate further.

Hi Dave, thanks for all the input. I haven't been able to see speed up with air core coils, have you? IF there is a way to get a good output without slowing down the rotor with air coils, that would...

The Kromrey - G-field effect

Hi guys,

I think by now everyone knows that a bifilar coil also acts as a capacitor as it stores charge between the windings. You can make a test and see if it ain't a cap. Get some power supply,...
