I'm hoping this doesn't cause a lot of controversy, I was pretty excited by the original post on this thread, but got to thinking. If I've got my physics correct, the magnetic field strength of a...

I've worked some with a prototype of this circuit, and I still don't understand the opposing diode attached to the switch (S1) or "event trigger" and LV rod. When I used a diode in the ...

I used a ~3" ferrite core, about 1/4" diameter 30 turns of 20 gauge magnet wire. It spikes, however the charger works as a DC charger even if it's not spiking. I ran some tests last night about...

Rene Charger

Has anyone tried to get an efficiency on the Rene Charger? I just built one and I'm shocked. This little thing rocks! I've got a lead acid battery charging completely from 3.6 watts. I'm using...

cosmic ray detector

I bought the oa4g and tried to build the original circuit Eric posted. It seemed pretty quiet when I had it up and running. It may not have been well tuned.

Smokey--your build looks awesome! ...

I noticed a similar effect when I had my brown's gas device up and running. After producing enough brown's gas the plates started to act like batteries and you could pull off a usable current for a...

I used the same style control current you previously described, rectified AC to a capacitor. There might be some ripple in my control current, but it is DC not AC.

Mag amp

You can do essentially what Dave suggested previously with radio shack transformers.

I guess I would fall back on standard theory, thinking that the electrons in the outer valence of the gases around the discharge are creating the light by moving from higher to lower energy levels,...

Try playing with the base resistance, the distance of the magnet to the reed switch and the position of the reed switch inside the coil. After trying numerous reed switches and...

Thanks for sharing this. I purchased a couple different reed switches and BJT's to see how it works. The larger, high power reed switch with a low resonant frequency doesn't work nearly as well as...

Using the terms "smaller gauge" and "larger gauge" is confusing in your post. I'm really curious about your results. Do you mean that when you used thicker wire with less resistance that you had...

Extra coil

The extra coil only looks "bunched up" because of the plastic insulation between the wires. The actual spacing between conductive copper is slightly more than Eric recommends.

So I've built a replica of Tesla's three coil system from the Colorado Springs notes. I took a couple of liberties, the main one being the fact that the primary and secondary are square, since my...

So then from the above reasoning, impulses work better. Unless I'm mistaken, that doesn't explain why you couldn't use AC impulses, rather than DC impulses. A lot of the free energy dogma seems to...

Quadripolar resonance equations

I don't understand the quadripolar resonance equations. The only practical value that I can see that would satisfy the equations are when L=C=M=K=1, which seems extremely limiting. I can't see how...
