What's the difference between a H2 generator and HHO generator?
Could someone explain what is the difference between a H2 generator and HHO generator? It seems that every man and his dog has been led to believe that HHO can be made by simply sticking two electrodes in water and passing a current through the electrodes. I think the difference between the two needs to be defined so that people aren't being led to conduct research into or purchase devices that are simply H2 generators.

I understand that a HHO system rearranges the water molecule to produce a more potent gas. What I'd like to know is what are basic requirements of an HHO system for it produce HHO gas and how are they different to a system that produces H2. How can one tell if a system is producing HHO or H2?

A HHO generator does consist of one gas collection chamber but so does an Oxyhydrogen generator. Are they one and the same? If not how can one tell if their generator is producing HHO gas or oxyhydrogen? |
