Notice the Lyre in The Arms of the Gibraltarian Government, and the Chained Unicorne...ad to it the key attached to the 3 towers Red Castle

Quote:
Hermes in Greek mythology, is the Olympian god of boundaries and of the travelers who cross them, of shepherds and cowherds, of orators and wit, of literature and poets, of athletics, of weights and measures, of invention, of commerce in general, and of the cunning of thieves and liars.

As a translator, Hermes is a messenger from the gods to humans, sharing this with Iris. An interpreter who bridges the boundaries with strangers is a hermeneus. Hermes gives us our word "hermeneutics" for the art of interpreting hidden meaning. In Greek a lucky find was a hermaion.

Hermes, as an inventor of fire, is a parallel of the Titan, Prometheus. In addition to the syrinx and the lyre, Hermes was believed to have invented many types of racing and the sport of boxing, and therefore was a patron of athletes. Modern mythographers have connected Hermes with the trickster gods of other cultures.

Unicorn in Alchemy: The Modern Alchemist: A Guide to Personal Transformation--Chapter III-Anima

Quote:
The Wise truly say
That two wild beasts lurk in the forest:
One is beautiful, well-formed and spirited,
A great strong antlered stag;
The other is a radiant white unicorn
.

Both lie hidden in the forest;
We call the man insightful,
Who can spy and catch them.

Here and everywhere the Masters concisely reveal
That two beasts move through the forest.
(Yet the forest must be understood to be one thing.)

First, to reach the root of all things,
Matter will be called the forest,
So shall we know and understand things rightly.

The Unicorn stands for Spirit
The Stag answers to no other name
Than Soul and none can deny it.

Now it is true that he, who by Art,
Knows how to tame them,
Leading them out of the forest,
Yet driving them close together,
Would be called a Master.

Such a man has found the Golden Fleece.
So now he may triumph,
and might govern over great Augustus.

Now it is important that you know
A Stag and Unicorn in the forest go.

Soul and Spirit exist in Matter.
Quote:
About ten of the fifteen illustrations for Lambsprinck overtly depict the dualistic nature of the Self. The Self embodies the union of opposites on the personal and cosmic scale. It presents itself through the classic symbols of paradox, such as life/death, time/eternity, good/evil, masculine/feminine, etc. In this plate, the contents of the unconscious are shown as vegetative and warm-blooded life. The stag, a real creature, is feminine and represents the Soul. The unicorn, a mythical or imaginal being, stands for Spirit. It is the masculine penetrating force. The forest is the body.

The unicorn represents "one-pointedness." Conscious intent and subconscious only collide when your rational mind wants to clamp down on unreason. The crisis, symbolized in the previous picture as confrontation, will abate if the rationality of the ego does not continue to interfere too much. Primarily because they are in conflict, the opposites will draw together over a period of time. What appeared to foretell death and destruction now indicates a possibility of harmonious blending.

In physics this process is called covalent bonding, where elements unite because of mutual deficiencies. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts because of a synergistic quality. This quality of "wholeness" is represented in psychology as the archetype of the Self. Your internal conflicts may be creative as well as destructive. Limited conflict, seen in terms of the whole, may be necessary for future development. Your conscious ego may not even acknowledge the autonomy of the Unconscious, and it certainly cannot determine the source or goal of ongoing psychic processes. Furthermore, if you overanalyze this process in yourself, you might inhibit the transformation.
So a chained Unicorn...sound like an intent on Chaining the Spirit

Here is another painting by the same author who made the St George and Dragon ...on the same topic...think of it as v2.0 of St George and Dragon

From: Paolo Uccello - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
Paolo Uccello (1397 – 10 December 1475), born Paolo di Dono, was an Italian painter and a mathematician who was notable for his pioneering work on visual perspective in art. Giorgio Vasari in his book Lives of the Artists wrote that Uccello was obsessed by his interest in perspective and would stay up all night in his study trying to grasp the exact vanishing point. He used perspective in order to create a feeling of depth in his paintings and not, as his contemporaries, to narrate different or succeeding stories. His best known works are the three paintings representing the battle of San Romano (for a long time these were wrongly entitled the "Battle of Sant' Egidio of 1416").

Paolo worked in the Late Gothic tradition, and emphasized colour and pageantry rather than the Classical realism that other artists were pioneering. His style is best described as idiosyncratic, and he left no school of followers. He has had some influence on twentieth century art (including the New Zealand painter Melvin Day) and literary criticism (e.g., in the "Vies imaginaires" by Marcel Schwob, "Uccello le poil" by Antonin Artaud and "O Mundo Como Ideia" by Bruno Tolentino).

The reason crystals are so potent for vibrational healing is that they contain “Codes of Light” and the “Rays of Divine Consciousness”. The Unified Energy Field (UEF) of the whole cosmos is reflected in the gemstones, jewels, and the various “rocks” of our Earth‘s crust. Think of crystals and gemstones as containing the “frozen light” of the Divine. Pure in their crystalline structures and the type of Light they refract, they imbue pure qualities into our own auric energy fields.

A reader of Before It's News forwarded amazing photos to me when he discovered their possible implications. The staff and I reviewed them thoroughly and decided to share them with you to see what you think. Dragon Sensei, a writer that's explored some of the esoteric mysteries of Asia and a UFO investigator, kindly consented to write about these startling images. — Chris Kitze, Publisher

A bizarre impression left upon the surface of a snowy outdoor trampoline intrigued a reader of Before It's News, so he snapped a digital photo of it. When he later studied the image he discovered layer upon layer of complicated digitalized pictograms. The images were embedded in the ice crystals. Strangest of all, they seem to document messages from ETs.

Solar Wind May Explain Planet Mercury's Puny Magnetic Field | NASA & Messenger Probe | Mercury & The Solar System | LiveScience

Quote:
The mystery of why Mercury's magnetic field is so weak may just have been solved: It is being stifled by the solar wind, researchers think.

Mercury and Earth are the only rocky planets in the solar system to possess global magnetic fields, and for years scientists have puzzled over why Mercury's is so flimsy. Roiling molten iron cores generate magnetic fields, and given how extraordinarily iron-rich Mercury is for its size — its metallic heart may comprise two-thirds of Mercury's mass, twice the ratio for Earth, Venus or Mars — the innermost planet should have a magnetic field 30 times stronger than what spacecraft such as NASA's MESSENGER probe have detected so far.

To study Mercury's magnetic field, researchers created 3-D computer simulations of the planet's interior and of the solar wind, the deluge of energetic particles from the sun that constantly bombards its nearest planet.

The computer models suggested that the churning of Mercury's molten iron core ordinarily would amplify the magnetic field up to Earth-like levels, in a so-called dynamo process like the one within our planet. [The Greatest Mysteries of Mercury]

Violent solar storms can blast a surprisingly large amount of material off the surface of the moon, according to a new NASA study.

Researchers used computer simulations to examine how sun storms and eruptions of solar plasma, called coronal mass ejections (CMEs), can significantly erode the lunar surface. These tumultuous solar storms could also result in atmospheric loss on planets like Mars that are unprotected by a global magnetic field, the scientists said.

A re post...If you don't re-read remember as you learn you vision of things change..re reading will bring to light new meaning....Fractal

Quote:
All eyes do not see with the same vision,
for to one an object appears of
one form and color
and to a different eye of another.
So also the infinite fire,
changing from color to color,
is never the same from day to day.

interesting....

John W. Keely held similar view as Tesla and Russell

Quote:
The Theory of a Musical Universe (wave matter)[ 1] "The universe consists solely of waves of motion." relates Walter Russell in chapter 31 of A New Concept of the Universe. Another way of saying this is: "There exists nothing other than vibration." In Russell's statement lies the base for his next blast at orthodoxy's belief in a material universe: "Any theory which cannot find a fitting place within the wave has no other place for it in Nature." Hard words for sure but can they stand up to scrutiny? Is it possible to create a paradigm of nature that is structured entirely on wave or vibration theory?

Investigating the pioneer work of John W. Keely's "Sympathetic Vibratory Physics" [2] would lead us to believe this is so. Logically speaking, for such a paradigm to exist it would be couched entirely in vibration terms and concepts and would evolve from the simple to the complex addressing atomic phenomena all the way through human activity. The author (Dale Pond; Frank Germano, ED) believes this can be done, albeit not exhaustively, in so short a paper as this one. In as much as a premise voiced ought to be demonstrated it will herein be shown how all vibration is intimately connected to all other vibration...
...The vibrations of windows and glass dishes in response to the sounding of various musical chords first set his mind upon the subject of vibration, and the curious sympathy between distant waves vibrating in harmony.
...Therefore music is organized vibration or sound set in orderly principles of structure and behavior. The principles that make sound into harmonious music are the same principles that govern all associating vibrations throughout the universe - and that includes everything that there is. It will be shown how any given vibration gives rise to a complex yet simple series of subordinate vibrations known generally as harmonics and these harmonics are relative to one another as are musical intervals.
Peter Davey:

Quote:
Davey noticed as he played the saxophone at home that everything resonated at a different frequency.

"The glasses will tinkle on one note. Knives and forks in the drawer will tinkle on another note and I realised that everything has its point of vibration," he said. "In the same way, a component in the ball is tuned to a certain frequency."

Davey said it took years of trial and error to get the device to where it is now. He has made a number of prototypes using the same principle, including a steamer.
Nikola Tesla:

Quote:
"It is well known that an electric circuit compacts itself like a spring with a weight attached to it. Such a spring vibrates at a definite rate, which is determined by two quantities, the pliability of the spring and the mass of the weight. Similarly an electric circuit vibrates, and its vibration, too, is dependent on two quantities, designated as electrostatic capacity and inductance. The capacity of the electric circuit corresponds to the pliability of the spring and the inductance to the mass of the weight."
John W. Keely
Quote:
...When these harmonics form unisons or direct harmonic relations the two vibrating aggregates and their chords of vibration are said to be sympathetic to each other. This unison of frequency dictates that what happens to one vibratorily happens to the other simultaneously.

note: we all are living under the same vibratory state ie: Schuman Resonnace, which could also explain the twin effect (the two similar vibrating aggregates)

just a reminder

from: Potential - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
The mathematical study of potentials is known as potential theory; it is the study of harmonic functions on manifolds. This mathematical formulation arises from the fact that, in physics, the scalar potential is irrotational, and thus has a vanishing Laplacian — the very definition of a harmonic function.
In physics, a potential may refer to the scalar potential or to the vector potential. In either case, it is a field defined in space, from which many important physical properties may be derived.
Leading examples are the gravitational potential and the electric potential, from which the motion of gravitating or electrically charged bodies may be obtained.
Specific forces have associated potentials, including the Coulomb potential, the van der Waals potential, the Lennard-Jones potential and the Yukawa potential.
In electrochemistry there are Galvani potential and Volta potential.
In Thermodynamics potential refers to thermodynamic potential.

It is also speculated that 1001 nights and other Middle Eastern "Stories" where of great Inspiration to Shakespeare...If you want to know who Shakespeare was...take his name...you know that to each Letter Correspond a Number...I let you ponder on that .

Let's Take the Example of 1001 Night...who are the Protagonist:

from: One Thousand and One Nights - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
One Thousand and One Nights (Arabic: كتاب ألف ليلة وليلة‎ Kitāb alf laylah wa-laylah) is a collection of Middle Eastern and South Asian stories and folk tales compiled in Arabic during the Islamic Golden Age. It is often known in English as the Arabian Nights, from the first English language edition (1706), which rendered the title as The Arabian Nights' Entertainment.[1]

The work was collected over many centuries by various authors, translators and scholars across the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa. The tales themselves trace their roots back to ancient and medieval Arabic, Persian, Indian, Turkish, Egyptian and Mesopotamian folklore and literature. In particular, many tales were originally folk stories from the Caliphate era, while others, especially the frame story, are most probably drawn from the Pahlavi Persian work Hazār Afsān (Persian: هزار افسان, lit. A Thousand Tales) which in turn relied partly on Indian elements.[2]

What is common throughout all the editions of the Nights is the initial frame story of the ruler Shahryār (from Persian: شهريار, meaning "king" or "sovereign") and his wife Scheherazade (from Persian: شهرزاد, possibly meaning "of noble lineage"[3]) and the framing device incorporated throughout the tales themselves. The stories proceed from this original tale; some are framed within other tales, while others begin and end of their own accord. Some editions contain only a few hundred nights, while others include 1,001 or more.
1001 10 / 01 Mirror 6 3 9

Principle of Polarity:

the ruler Shahryār (from Persian: شهريار, meaning "king" or "sovereign") and his wife Scheherazade

Quote:
Some of the stories of The Nights, particularly "Aladdin's Wonderful Lamp", "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" and "The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor", while almost certainly genuine Middle-Eastern folk tales, were not part of The Nights in Arabic versions, but were interpolated into the collection by Antoine Galland and other European translators.

stumbled on this about a link previously posted; in relations to king james Bible:

Quote:
Ian Punnett from Coast to Coast AM hosts an inspiring conversation with one of NOW's favorite authors, William Henry. We have decided to advertise this particular conversation from 08/04/07 for a variety of reasons. We will let the listener hear for themselves various questions posed from Ian as William Henry answers and at times argues with Ian's views, making this conversation both relevant and mind-opening. Ian and the listening audience may change their mind and approach history from William Henry's perspective.

For those of you who may not be familiar with Mr. Henry's work, we can look at the recap for the show on the coast to coast website as an example:
Ancient Knowledge & Technology
William Henry discussed his work as an investigative mythologist, and his recent trip to Switzerland and Rennes-le-Château, France. While at Rennes-le-Château, Henry said he was researching alternative traditions concerning Jesus and Mary Magdalene, as well as looking for additional evidence for a lost gospel, known by the Cathars as the Book of Love-- a collection of primitive Christian symbols that were supposedly delivered from Jesus to John the Divine.

Henry also delved into his research on ancient civilizations and technology, including the rod and the ring and stargates. According to Henry, ancient mythologies and artwork depict light beings who were able to traverse the heavenly realms via wormholes in space and time. Knowledge of how to lift one's 'divine spark' into these other dimensions has largely been lost, though some (such as Tibet's Dali Lama) believe we can reawaken this latent capability, Henry said.

It is a good assessment of the show however, a lot of detail may be missed and could be broken down further.

William Henry is both fluid and remarkably imaginative with words. He understands the Language of the Birds, the symbolic and oral definitions for many of today's hidden mysteries within the English language. That particular language has secrets and a purpose perhaps, as it is locked in to an orbit with America, The New Atlantis as described and outlined for our founding fathers by Sir Francis Bacon. The beacon of light Bacon provided as the last initiate of the Knights Templar and perhaps the guiding light of modern Freemasonry certainly set a major example that has not been duplicated since.

First, as an author, Henry has written books, articles, lectures and presentation of his material tracing ancient and highly spiritual elements to better understand our intelligent body and it's mysterious forms today. As time wears on, the power of these Mystery School teaching are brought to life again by Henry as he is consistently on the cutting edge of today's post-modern philosophers blowing the lid off of hidden knowledge.

What were the true mystery school action hero's looking for? Jesus and Mary Magdalene, Francis Bacon, Napoleon, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Adolf Hitler and most recently Saddam Hussein. As William Henry points out obvious reason why we are really in IRAQ, we will soon discover that the secret of ancient wisdom passed down through the ages is now for sale on the black market, for only anonymous mystery bidders to buy. What were depicted on priceless cylinder seals lifted from those museums and why is the information so relevant to humanity?

If you want I could give a more recent example than One Thousand and One Nights , this one i hold dear , I would recommend anyone to read it:

Quote:
Foundation is the first book in Isaac Asimov's Foundation Trilogy (later expanded into The Foundation Series). Foundation is a collection of five short stories, which were first published together as a book by Gnome Press in 1951. Together, they form a single plot.
Quote:
The Psychohistorians

(0 F.E.) (First published as the book edition in 1951)

The first story is set on Trantor, the capital planet of the 12,000-year-old Galactic Empire. Whilst the empire gives the appearance of stability, beneath this façade it is suffering a slow decay. Hari Seldon, a mathematician and psychologist, has developed psychohistory which equates all possibilities in large societies to mathematics, allowing predictable long term outcomes.

Seldon discovers a horrifying truth to the Empire's decay, but his results are considered treasonable and attract attention from the Commission of Public Safety — the effective rulers of the Empire. This leads to his arrest. A young mathematician Gaal Dornick, who has just arrived on Trantor, is also arrested. On trial, Seldon shares the discoveries made through psychohistory, such as the collapse of the Empire within 500 years, followed by a 30,000-year period of barbarism.

Seldon proposes an alternative to this future; one that would not avert the collapse but shorten the interregnum period to a mere 1000 years. But this plan would require a large group of people to develop a compendium of all human knowledge, titled the Encyclopedia Galactica.

A still skeptical commission, worried of making Seldon a martyr, offer him the choice of execution for treason or acceptance of exile with his group of 'Encyclopedists' to a remote planet Terminus. There, they will carry out the Plan under an imperial decree, while Seldon would remain barred from returning to Trantor.

Asimov on psychohistory

On September 25, 1987, Asimov gave an interview to Terry Gross on her National Public Radio program, Fresh Air.[1] In it, Gross asked him about psychohistory:
Gross: "What did you have in mind when you coined the term and the concept?"
Asimov: "Well, I wanted to write a short story about the fall of the Galactic Empire. I had just finished reading the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire [for] the second time, and I thought I might as well adapt it on a much larger scale to the Galactic Empire and get a story out of it. And my editor John Campbell was much taken with the idea, and said he didn't want it wasted on a short story. He wanted an open-ended series so it lasts forever, perhaps. And so I started doing that. In order to keep the story going from story to story, I was essentially writing future history, and I had to make it sufficiently different from modern history to give it that science fictional touch. And so I assumed that the time would come when there would be a science in which things could be predicted on a probabilistic or statistical basis."
Gross: "Do you think that would be good if there really was such a science?"
Asimov: "Well, I can't help but think it would be good, except that in my stories, I always have opposing views. In other words, people argue all possible... all possible... ways of looking at psychohistory and deciding whether it is good or bad. So you can't really tell. I happen to feel sort of on the optimistic side. I think if we can somehow get across some of the problems that face us now, humanity has a glorious future, and that if we could use the tenets of psychohistory to guide ourselves we might avoid a great many troubles. But on the other hand, it might create troubles. It's impossible to tell in advance."

Yes any information would be good.
I did not know about the 1001 knights, or even this first bible claimed to be by Bacon.

I am not sure if its a good idea to read his stuff.
I have looked at some things he wrote, but the codes, and the ability to catch a reader asleep and lull them into the belief of pondering in my opinion is dark arts.

Nothing good about that stuff.

You read the coded black magic, and sometimes it will grab U and pull you into the dark rift sort a speak.

I read about king Solomon, and deciphered a few of his symbols. I could show you but this is rabbit holes stuff, even some Egyptian symbols i encoded.
The problem with The Solomon keys is he spoke and commanded demons.
In the end God smitten him for disobedience.

I try not to let my mind be captured, and even skip over words at times, just at a glance i may read.

when you follow along with intent, you may stumble and fall. Dark stuff..

Any way Thanks for the links, and please tell me how to encode the name.. Thanks..

------------------also Spectroscopy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
Spectroscopy ( /spɛkˈtrɒskəpi/) is the study of the interaction between matter and radiated energy.[1][2] Historically, spectroscopy originated through the study of visible light dispersed according to its wavelength, e.g., by a prism. Later the concept was expanded greatly to comprise any interaction with radiative energy as a function of its wavelength or frequency. Spectroscopic data is often represented by a spectrum, a plot of the response of interest as a function of wavelength or frequency.
Quote:

Introduction

Spectrometry and spectrography are terms used to refer to the measurement of radiation intensity as a function of wavelength and are often used to describe experimental spectroscopic methods. Spectral measurement devices are referred to as spectrometers, spectrophotometers, spectrographs or spectral analyzers.

Daily observations of color can be related to spectroscopy. Neon lighting is a direct application of atomic spectroscopy. Neon and other noble gases have characteristic emission colors, and neon lamps use electricity to excite these emissions. Inks, dyes and paints include chemical compounds selected for their spectral characteristics in order to generate specific colors and hues. A commonly encountered molecular spectrum is that of nitrogen dioxide. Gaseous nitrogen dioxide has a characteristic red absorption feature, and this gives air polluted with nitrogen dioxide a reddish brown color. Rayleigh scattering is a spectroscopic scattering phenomenon that accounts for the color of the sky.

Spectroscopic studies were central to the development of quantum mechanics
and included Max Planck's explanation of blackbody radiation, Albert Einstein's explanation of the photoelectric effect and Niels Bohr's explanation of atomic structure and spectra. Spectroscopy is used in physical and analytical chemistry because atoms and molecules have unique spectra. These spectra can be interpreted to derive information about the atoms and molecules, and they can also be used to detect, identify and quantify chemicals. Spectroscopy is also used in astronomy and remote sensing. Most research telescopes have spectrographs. The measured spectra are used to determine the chemical composition and physical properties of astronomical objects (such as their temperature and velocity).
Quote:
Theory

One of the central concepts in spectroscopy is a resonance and its corresponding resonant frequency. Resonances were first characterized in mechanical systems such as pendulums. Mechanical systems that vibrate or oscillate will experience large amplitude oscillations when they are driven at their resonant frequency. A plot of amplitude vs. excitation frequency will have a peak centered at the resonance frequency. This plot is one type of spectrum, with the peak often referred to as a spectral line, and most spectral lines have a similar appearance.

In quantum mechanical systems, the analogous resonance is a coupling of two quantum mechanical stationary states of one system, such as an atom, via an oscillatory source of energy such as a photon. The coupling of the two states is strongest when the energy of the source matches the energy difference between the two states. The energy (E) of a photon is related to its frequency (ν) by E = hν where h is Planck's constant, and so a spectrum of the system response vs. photon frequency will peak at the resonant frequency or energy. Particles such as electrons and neutrons have a comparable relationship, the de Broglie relations, between their kinetic energy and their wavelength and frequency and therefore can also excite resonant interactions.

Spectra of atoms and molecules often consist of a series of spectral lines, each one representing a resonance between two different quantum states. The explanation of these series, and the spectral patterns associated with them, were one of the experimental enigmas that drove the development and acceptance of quantum mechanics. The hydrogen spectral series in particular was first successfully explained by the Rutherford-Bohr quantum model of the hydrogen atom. In some cases spectral lines are well separated and distinguishable, but spectral lines can also overlap and appear to be a single transition if the density of energy states is high enough.

Srinivasa Ramanujan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
Srīnivāsa Rāmānujan FRS pronunciation (help·info) (Tamil: சீனிவாச இராமானுஜன்) (22 December 1887 – 26 April 1920) was an Indian mathematician and autodidact who, with almost no formal training in pure mathematics, made extraordinary contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series and continued fractions. Ramanujan was said by the English mathematician G.H. Hardy to be in the same league as mathematicians like Euler and Gauss in terms of natural genius.[1]

Born in Erode, Madras Presidency, to a poor Brahmin family, Ramanujan first encountered formal mathematics at age 10. He demonstrated a natural ability, and was given books on advanced trigonometry written by S. L. Loney.[2] He mastered them by age 12, and even discovered theorems of his own, including independently re-discovering Euler's identity. He demonstrated unusual mathematical skills at school, winning accolades and awards. By 17, Ramanujan conducted his own mathematical research on Bernoulli numbers and the Euler–Mascheroni constant. He received a scholarship to study at Government College in Kumbakonam, but lost it when he failed his non-mathematical coursework. He joined another college to pursue independent mathematical research, working as a clerk in the Accountant-General's office at the Madras Port Trust Office to support himself.[3] In 1912–1913, he sent samples of his theorems to three academics at the University of Cambridge. Only Hardy recognised the brilliance of his work, subsequently inviting Ramanujan to visit and work with him at Cambridge. He became a Fellow of the Royal Society and a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, dying of illness, malnutrition and possibly liver infection in 1920 at the age of 32.

During his short lifetime, Ramanujan independently compiled nearly 3900 results (mostly identities and equations).[4] Although a small number of these results were actually false and some were already known, most of his claims have now been proven correct.[5] He stated results that were both original and highly unconventional, such as the Ramanujan prime and the Ramanujan theta function, and these have inspired a vast amount of further research.[6] However, the mathematical mainstream has been rather slow in absorbing some of his major discoveries. The Ramanujan Journal, an international publication, was launched to publish work in all areas of mathematics influenced by his work.[7]

In recognition of his contribution to mathematics, the Government of India declared in Dec 2011 to celebrate Ramajuan's birthday as the 'National Mathematics Day' every year on 22 December and declared 2012 as the 'National Mathematical Year'.
Quote:
Personality and spiritual life

Ramanujan has been described as a person with a somewhat shy and quiet disposition, a dignified man with pleasant manners.[79] He lived a rather Spartan life while at Cambridge. Ramanujan's first Indian biographers describe him as rigorously orthodox. Ramanujan credited his acumen to his family Goddess, Namagiri of Namakkal. He looked to her for inspiration in his work,[80] and claimed to dream of blood drops that symbolised her male consort, Narasimha, after which he would receive visions of scrolls of complex mathematical content unfolding before his eyes.[81] He often said, "An equation for me has no meaning, unless it represents a thought of God."[82][83]

Hardy cites Ramanujan as remarking that all religions seemed equally true to him.[84] Hardy further argued that Ramanujan's religiousness had been romanticised by Westerners and overstated—in reference to his belief, not practice—by Indian biographers. At the same time, he remarked on Ramanujan's strict observance of vegetarianism.

Namagiri - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
Namagiri is a Hindu goddess worshipped especially in the Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu state in Southern India. The name "Namagiri" translated from Sanskrit into Tamil sounds like "Namakkal". Her devotees worship her as a consort of Narasimha, an avatar (incarnation) of the deity, Vishnu. Namagiri was the mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan's family deity.

Quan Yin, the great goddess and Mother of Compassion, loved and revered throughout Asia. A beautiful expression of Divine Mother. Mercy means there is more assistance given through love than through merit earned. Following her ascension Kwan Yin turned back to save others and made this pledge - "Never will I seek, nor receive, private individual salvation, never will I enter into final peace alone, but forever and everywhere will I live and strive for the redemption of every creature throughout the world from the bonds of conditioned existence". Kwan Yin is associated with the earth, fertility, and birth, and healing. She has also brought forth the energies of Magnified Healing. Quan Yin is known as the Goddess of Compassion and is often depicted riding on a dragon. She is the eastern counterpart of Mother Mary and she works to balance the feminine energy. She is one of the Lords of Karma representing the sixth ray. Isis carried the same 'mother energy' in Egyptian and Hinduism, Shakti (Vishnu's wife), Pavarti (Shiva's wife) and Sita (Rama's wife). Her proper name is Kuanshih Yin and means "She who harkens to the cries of the world". She is honored in Japan and China. A Celestial Bodhisatva and Ascended Master

Parable - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A parable is [1] a succinct story, in prose or verse, which illustrates one or more instructive principles, or lessons, or (sometimes) a normative principle. It differs from a fable in that fables use animals, plants, inanimate objects, and forces of nature as characters, while parables generally feature human characters. It is a type of analogy.[2]

Some scholars of the Canonical gospels and the New Testament apply the term "parable" only to the parables of Jesus,[3] though that is not a common restriction of the term. Parables such as "The Prodigal Son" are central to Jesus' teaching method in both the canonical narratives and the apocrypha.

Etymology

The word "parable" comes from the Greek παραβολή (parabolē), meaning "comparison, illustration, analogy".[4] It was the name given by Greek rhetoricians to any fictive illustration in the form of a brief narrative. Later it came to mean a fictitious narrative, generally referring to something that might naturally occur, by which spiritual and moral matters might be conveyed.[5]

------------------------- Parabola - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In mathematics, the parabola ( /pəˈræbələ/; plural parabolae or parabolas, from the Greek παραβολή) is a conic section, the intersection of a right circular conical surface and a plane parallel to a generating straight line of that surface. Given a point (the focus) and a corresponding line (the directrix) on the plane, the locus of points in that plane that are equidistant from them is a parabola.

The line perpendicular to the directrix and passing through the focus (that is, the line that splits the parabola through the middle) is called the "axis of symmetry". The point on the axis of symmetry that intersects the parabola is called the "vertex", and it is the point where the curvature is greatest. Parabolas can open up, down, left, right, or in some other arbitrary direction. Any parabola can be repositioned and rescaled to fit exactly on any other parabola — that is, all parabolas are similar.

The parabola has many important applications, from automobile headlight reflectors to the design of ballistic missiles. They are frequently used in physics, engineering, and many other areas.

The Abydos Helicopter & The Golden Section

Quote:
At Abydos, in the ancient temple built by Seti I, and his son Ramses II, on a heavy stone slab supporting the ceiling are hieroglyphical writings, which are illustrated by a most eye catching, and thought provoking scene - an array of four futuristic craft.
dIf this were modern art, we would have no doubt that it clearly shows a helicopter next to a stacked formation of three harder to identify advanced craft. Disavowal stems strictly from the fact that this art is over 3,000 years old, and we know that there was no advanced technology and science in our misty past -
Quote:
Menmaatre Seti I (also called Sethos I after the Greeks) was a Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt (Nineteenth dynasty of Egypt), the son of Ramesses I and Queen Sitre, and the father of Ramesses II. As with all dates in Ancient Egypt, the actual dates of his reign are unclear, and various historians claim different dates, with 1294 BC – 1279 BC[4] and 1290 BC to 1279 BC[5] being the most commonly used by scholars today.

The name Seti means "of Set", which indicates that he was consecrated to the god Set (commonly "Seth"). As with most Pharaohs, Seti had several names. Upon his ascension, he took the prenomen mn-m3‘t-r‘, which translates as Menmaatre in Egyptian, which means " Eternal is the Justice of Re."[1] His better known nomen, or birth name is technically transliterated as sty mry-n-ptḥ, or Sety Merenptah, meaning "Man of Set, beloved of Ptah". Manetho incorrectly considered him to be the founder of the 19th dynasty.

Chamharouch, the king of "jinn"

Chamharouch, le roi des "djinns" in Insayen - amezruy / Traditions - histoire / Traditions - history Forum

Quote:
At about 2,000 meters above sea level halfway between the village of Imlil and refuge NELTI (located at the foot of Toubkal), Chamharouch is a well known place of pilgrimage around the mountain.

This place, supposed to honor the King of "jinn", would have the power to heal people with mental illness. To get rid of its evils, the pilgrim patient must stay long enough. Some remained there for years, according to the words of one local resident. A huge rock, painted white covers, according to legend, the place came to collect the "djinn" Chamharouch. It is at this precise location, in a cavity beneath the huge rock that "pilgrims" to collect.

In the mountains, among Berbers, roam the trails jnoun mainly in the evening or at night. The jnoun are the demons, the spirits that take the behind, pressing to look over your shoulder. They accompany you everywhere. Sometimes your own jnoun (plural of djinn ) will take quarrel with those of your partner. This explains the sudden bursts of antipathy which sometimes overwhelm you for no apparent reason during a first meeting. Conversely if your jnoun and his family are friendly, so immediately you become best friends.

The jnoun attend preferably some places, the vicinity of cemeteries, sunken roads, desolate places. It is important not to let the bad jnoun in the house. Sometimes you will notice a door on the imprint of a hand-dipped in color. It is the hand that pushes the evil eye, clearly indicating "Keep driving, you do not want bad jnoun here.."

The jnoun are incredibly present in the life of every day. They mingle shamelessly affairs of the living. Sometimes they are bad but sometimes they defend the innocent and do justice to the humble.

A Boumalne Dades, the jnoun intervened several times. Mohamed told me the story. Mohamed is not particularly superstitious, or even truly believing. It is not one to rush to the mosque every call to prayer. He studied at Ouarzazate. But Boumalne in the 80's, he was a child, there was a warrant officer of the gendarmerie that was law and order. One day the police captured a man in the souk of the village. They dragged him to the brigade to make him confess his sins, actual or imaginary. There, they shut him up, he was brutalized.

And while the village sleeps, that the police are about to take exhausted a well deserved rest, the first stone hits the front. Others follow, a deluge of stones came from nowhere. The windows broke, the door cracks, stones fly in, the furniture rush in all directions. The police are trying an output, the gun battery. Impossible, you must take cover. Person on whom to fire, except those that arise stones flying from the sky, whistling in their ears. The next day, the accused is released for lack of serious evidence.

A short time later, Mohamed I swear he was there with his bike and he has seen it all, some time later, the sergeant was transferred to another position. He commanded a cart, he pushes his personal belongings, furniture. The bed just charge ignites spontaneously reduced to ashes in an instant the contents of the trailer.

Mohamed does not draw further conclusion that the evidence of the existence of jnoun. These are the jnoun who spoke to hunt and to continue their brutal vengeance this Warrant and hated.
