However words like "i know it works" have not much scientific value.

I see this was built by RB to increase gas mileage and horsepower. The date of the Patent is within a year of the first big gas crisis when prices skyrocketed within weeks. I have to wonder if it really worked for his intended purposes or if this was just an attempt at making a plug in device with appearances of gas saving. Guy was from Hollywood which casts further doubt IMO on it being anything valid. However if it has some other use for OU that may be of interest but I think I'm lost on this one so far.

Please don't take this as a personal attack (because it's not) and I share your enthusiasm for history and lost science, however I have to agree with Xenomorph here and say that your excuse of "there is no time" is just very poor indeed. We have to make time.
I am an extremely busy person but never lay the responsibility on others to prove an argument I am currently trying to champion! That would be ridiculous!!
If you want credibility, you need to get into the lab and off the internet and start making things. You will discover that MANY of the old patents (and website material) does not either work OR at the very least, does not work as prescribed and requires intense redesign. Let's face it....IF all of these things worked as designed (explained) on the websites, then we (humanity) should be awash in free energy simplicity. The fact is, that it is EASIER to sit and write theories all day how you think things work than to go into a lab and prove it.

However...when all is said and done, you can be sure you will have a 10000X more credibility if you have a working device in your palm to PROVE it is possible rather than send other people on your goose chases.
