Personally, I'm not a mathematician and don't understand the math and if you're not either, I'd recommend reading these anyway because you really can get a lot of the concepts.

To my understanding, the Maxwell's equations taught today are NOT the real ones and do NOT show any "free energy" but the originals did. They were simplified for engineers who lacked the ability to understand the originals.

I'm sure there are plenty of people here who can give a detailed account of this whole story.
