Has anyone looked into T.T. Browns marine version of his electrogravetic system. He claimes to have built setups that moved some fairly large boats.

solid state water propulsion

Stan Meyer also supposedly has solid state water propulsion systems for the military...he mentions this in the New Zealand House Video. But that manual on his military applications...nobody seems interested in finding out if it is available anywhere.

I just came into a Chris Craft Sea Swirl 14' boat with a jet drive. Looking into making that more efficient on the water...even though I have yet to pick up the boat. This will be a very interesting thread for me. Thanks.

Garrett

My father has a 45' asian style junk/party boat, and the tender for it is a Boston Whaler 130 Sport with a 40hp outboard. About a year ago I designed a hydrofoil system for it. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to get the parts manufactured yet, but I showed the designs to a local boat builder and he said that once installed, it should reach speeds of up to 60kts.

It's not a propulsion system, but it saves on fuel.

prop propulsion

Look at Superior Marine Systems product on this page:
http://www.uscgboating.org/articles/...ury%20Main.pdf

I can't say anything else right now.

Anyway, that is what I wanted to show Carl and that is why I started this thread...of course any boat propulsion system talk is welcome.

There is some Patrick Flanagan propulsion systems for water as well...but for the more simple but highly effective technology...the above...you'll have to do your own research on it. I'll see if I can post anything else.

hull designs

there are also different types of interesting hull design out there. some hulls have been created in such a way that a large airpocket is trapped beneath the ship/boat, this reduces the amount of friction and increases fuel economy.

One of the most promising

Glacier Bay, Inc
I have been watching this company for about 10 years now and they have proved to do a lot in the marine industry. Their products are very expensive, I have tried several times to get one of my clients to go in this direction with all their products, but like I say VERY expensive.
Shell
(wish I can spend more time here, but I got a lot going on, will answer any Q's if it is something boat related, bear in mind my expertise lie with larger vessels that is diesel engine driven, and any Q on sailboats)
