Water from bubbler going back to electrolyzer

Hello Forum,
I have a nine plate cell...(water filtration housing) that when I shut off my vehicle the water that's in the bubbler sucks back into the cell.
I have a one way valve going from the cell to the bubbler but it still goes back into the cell.
How can I correct this situation?
I would appreciate any GOOD advice

Thanks Forum

Get a Better Check Valve, or make sure it's working. That should not happen, that is the whole point of the check valve.

Also How do you have your input going into your bubbler?

There is a few things it could be. Can you post a pic of your set-up?

Water from bubbler going back to electrolyzer

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and very interested in these type of questions. Although I did reply to you privately, my Forum account has now been activated so I thought I'd post in case others were wondering the same thing.

My solution would be to simply widen the hose that leads from the Electrolyzer to the Bubbler - depending on your configuration of course. Doubling the hose width will quadruple the hose volume and that might be enough to prevent the water regression.

regards,
Buccaneer

The way I solved the same problem was to install a tee in the line and put check valve in the tee. This way when the unit creates a vacuum, it pull in fresh air through the check valve. I can upload a drawing if you need.
