Tesla Chargers Lawnmower

Tesla Chargers Lawnmower - Tesla Chargers

How to charge your 24 volt lawnmower with a 12 volt 2A12 or S3A12 solar charger controller from Tesla Chargers. You could do this same switch method with a golf cart to charge it at 12 volts with our larger rejuvenators.

Great job Aaron

You think practical, I like that mower job.

I was thinking doubler using the right caps and high speed diode
you could take that high speed dc pulse coming out of the 12V
TELSA CHARGER to reach twice the units capability now.

What do you think of my idea? I really don't have the topology
on that charger to know for sure. 8 pulses a minute might
not be fast enough to work a doubler circuit?

Other than that itty bitty brainstorm I thought the conversion
was awesome, in fact I have been sick of these gas mowers
so long I been thinking come up with a cable weed whip
style mower deck custom built.

I need to get a composite mower then use some of these
batteries around here on it. Just what I needed to see.

Very inspiring video. If it is a practical useful experiment,
I want one.

The thing about the idea is that people can't keep their
batteries alive without that special charger.

The people really need to try these chargers instead of
thinking it is all some kind of a gimmick.

I like your switches.

24 volt to 12 volt switching arrangement

BroMikey,

Are you talking about a voltage doubler?

One pulse every 7.5 seconds can work, little slower but better if pretty good capacitance caps.

These lawnmower batteries would be toast a long time ago if I used the factory charger. The 1AU is really not strong enough so takes a long time to charge. However, it actually kept them in really good shape. They're probably at 90% capacity of new. I'd have to put it on my CBA IV to see, but in any case, I'm impressed that they're 7 years or so old with LOTS of use. I've left the mower out in the snow all winter many times, etc... you name it and it just keeps going.

I busted out my old 20 or 24 amp rejuventor with the auto load cycler that we used to have. Been using that a bit to speed up charging time. That thing really packs a wallop.

Yeah, well that's good to know, that little charger is great for
walking away indefinitely just letting it charge.

Exactly right, you should be. In the olden days I'de be lucky
to see my battery last one year on a mower. These chargers
they sell nowadays are worse than rubbish. THEY sell these
things called SMART CHARGERS and the only thing put on
one that differs from the old ones is a few LED's.

What a joke, just boil the battery/ smoke charge the plates
up to 13.9v and from there let the plate get hammered with
rock hard sulfates.

That's because you know how to charge a battery and keep it
in good condition so in case you do walk away the units can be
rejuvenated slightly once again.

Most folks have no clue.

That thing is an animal. That's the way to go on 24vdc

That's what people are missing out on. On some of
my charges like the ones you sell if I get a little more
power to a bigger battery set, the things go right
up so fast it is incredible. And another thing that
shocks me, other than finding the threshold of
power needed for any battery set is the fact that
a conventional charger uses 3-5X times more power
to fry the battery up to the float voltage in 5 minutes.

These special charges we have are hard to explain.
The impedance of batteries are all different and my charger
is friendly to all batteries.

A built in cutoff is great to have when batteries are really
charged to the max without all of the boiling heat.

COLD BOILING is the word up. If people don't understand
the idea of "coil boiling" a battery will they be in for the
best surprise. Maybe when a few of these guys get 2 nickels to
rub together they will order a charger and enter a different
world in battery understanding.

Your mower has inspired me to go electric. In the past I had
all but given up on battery operated anything but with the
BEDINI technology taking over on Energizing batteries plus
ALUM injections, I have changed my mind.

I forgot about the electric mower I had.

Mikey
