Does anyone have any photos to share that contain orbs? I have often heard of them and seen pictures of them on the internet but never took a picture that contained one until recently.

I have attached a photo of Raymond and me that was taken with my camera at a wedding last summer. The spheres in the picture are orbs. Or at least I think they are. There was nothing wrong with the camera as it is new and we took many other pictures, none of which contained the spheres.

Oh, good question Pamela! (Great pic too, by the way!) Yes, roughly a quarter of all the photos of my Rin Boy, have orbs in them. These are photos taken over the years by various people, in various places, both indoors and outdoors, using regular film cameras, disposable cameras, digital cameras, you name it.

In at least some of the photos we can rule out anything supernatural by attributing the little white spheres to weather conditions or faulty film / camera malfunction. But even so, there are a remarkably high number of orbs in Rin Boy's photos. Funnily enough, the orbs even appear in photos where Rin Boy was not actually in the picture, but standing nearby just out of range of the camera! Sometimes the orbs seem to be flying or swooping. Sometimes they are stationary.

Over time I've come to understand that Rin Boy is quite an extraordinary person with a beautiful soul, and who knows, perhaps the orbs are his friendly guides? And perhaps your guides showed up on a special day Pamela, to share the joy. Or perhaps the orbs are the beauty of your own soul shining through.

If anybody else has any more "logical" explanation, please let me know! I've long been very curious about this matter. (Not to mention just a little bit miffed by all the "ruined" photos of my son! Those orbs are really conspicuous sometimes.)

I have lots of photos with orbs in them! Rin, most of those photos are with my daughter in them as well!

I also took a couple of weird photos with 'smoke' on them.

Hi Moria -

After you click on attachment, you can click on browse. This will go to your documents, photos, etc. If all of your photos are grouped in one file, open the file and then select the photo.

I kept getting an error message because my photo was too large. After cropping several times (I used Adobe photo shop - free to download) it was finally small enough to attach.

Rin, I have read that pictures of moving orbs are the most authentic of all. There simply is no other explanation of what the objects can be. I would love to see your photos as well

Ok, figured out how to do it

The first two were taken around 7 AM, before we took our friends to the airport. No, I did not smoke while I took the pictures. Have no idea where that came from!
The third one has an odd light to the left, I say odd as there are no lights whatsoever on that side of the house.
The fourth has lots of orbs in it.

This one has lots of orbs as well, but a bit different than the others. When I zoomed in on the picture, I saw that the orbs where more shaped like wheels, and very colorful.

I love the "smoke" picture. I have never seen anything like that before. Have you done any research to see if others have captured something like that in a photo before?

I know what you mean, Moria! I have one "smoke" picture that was taken at night (of myself and Rin Boy). It really puzzled me at the time, as neither of us smoke and we weren't standing near anybody who was.

Alas Pamela, none of my "orb" pics are on my computer, and I don't own a scanner (and furthermore he is really not happy about me posting his pics online) but be assured that I have so many orb pictures that a few years ago I even made a separate photo album for them! I'll dig that album out and take a better look at it. I recommend that everybody look more closely at their own photos. Sometimes orbs are extremely conspicuous - as in Pamela's picture - and sometimes they are nearly invisible, but I think that they may be more common than we think, and many people are simply failing to see them.

I'd still love to know what they really are, though!

I have been meaning to post these pictures for awhile now!! These pictures were taken in Argentina in August when I won gold at the Uechi Ryu World Cup for Peace! It was a fantastic time for me, and also happened to be my birthday weekend as well

What exactly are orbs??

Hi I had a discussion about orbs about 2 months ago because it was on my mind too! I often have orbs appear in photographs. I have a friend who constantly has orbs in her photographs that are the same clear shape and style as mine. She is a real orb attractor!! I was chatting to a photographer who is also very spiritual (he has seen two of my spirit guides and described them when others haven't, so I trust his opinion!) and he said he didn't know what they were Dust particles reflecting light, said his photographer part of his brain hehe. He has seen a spirit in a photograph, but that looked like a mans face. He said he's at a loss to what orbs are. I have no idea either, although I like to think they're protective spirits or positive energy or angels!

My experience has shown that:

They can appear no matter what the weather
They can appear no matter what the lighting
They can appear no matter what quality of camera
They can appear in many different sizes
They can appear singly or in bunches spread around
They can be around a subject or over a subject

In otherwords, they're not fussy! I have to admit, I love them. Don't know what they are, but get a good feeling from the balls of light

The truth about orbs!

Oooh! I love orb pictures. These are great!

I used to ghost hunt when I lived in Santa Cruz and I have some shots from cemeteries at night. I actually just came accross a few rolls of film from a hunt the other night. I will bring them in and post them. One of them has the oddest blue light in a rectangular shape and I have yet to discern what it is. And lots of orbs.

Also, I once saw a shadow person across the street from a cemetery I was at that was walking directly underneath the street lamps. It was the eeriest thing I have ever seen. It took about 3 steps while I was watching and then dissapeared behind a street lamp post.

This picture isn't mine, (I didn't get one ) but it's an idea. The Shadow person I saw was even more defined and had the hat and boots look. It was the purest black and looked like the texture of a dense raincloud.

I posted a couple of articles in another thread which also have some interesting pictures of orbs. There are some that are in a diamond shape.

I realized once I pulled out these pictures that I had stashed the good ones away in an album which I don't know the location of right now. But here are 2 that are decent.

The first has a rectangular blue light with two circular shapes inside the rectangle. I have no idea what it is but there were no lights around, and other pictures of this same headstone from the same angle showed no similar light. In fact, this cemetery goes back a few acres behind where this shot was taken and behind that is that back of a mountain. If you have any idea what it is, I would love to know!

The second pic is some orbs and a something that appears as smoke.

Concerning the three car photos:
The one on the left is I think where some light may have leaked into the lens; the reflection of the flash unit is on the rear side window and it has a very similar shape to the big white 'balloon' on the upper right corner of the photo. Also, there is a clear space in the center of the photo (no grayish-whitish covering) and this clear zone is the same shape as the big white balloon. My guess is that this is a camera malfunction.

The middle photo resembles what happens when a camera 'leaks' light but the third shot on the right does not seem to follow any techno-glitch pattern that I am aware of. It resembles some of the Spiritualist Church photos taken in England in decades past - very mysterious.

The circular shapes in the cemetery photo I would say are reflections from the iris of the camera; look closely and you can count six sides to theses shapes; the iris of many cameras has six sides. So it may be some aberration of the mechanism of the camera.

I have seen quite a few photos that go beyond any mechanical explanation and I very much support the notion that other dimensions can seep onto film and into digital images so I'm not a nay-sayer.

I TRV a lot and have nooooooo problem with ESP phenomena.

I do not want to dissapoint you, but have you noticed that these orbs appear only when you are photographing with the flash? That is simply some dust particles near the camera, that are reflecting some of the flash light. I had numerous of these orbs. Try a test and go to a dusty place, swirl around some dust and then try to make a photo with flash, you definatelly will see many orbs, or you can take a picture of someone with a flash, when it is snowing, there will be the same effect. I do not say, that all of the orbs are only dust particles, but this makes you think
