I am constructing a duel axis solar tracker and I need a motor that will run at low speed and have about 100 in-lbs of torque. Something like a motor in a treadmill. Any ideas?

I'm not sure of the torque, but if you are after 12v, what about car windscreen wiper motor/s? They seem quite powerful and cheap.

A stepper motor should be good for this...

You need a motor with a worm gear assembly. Look into the ones used to move satellite dishes. They're generally 24 volts.
