  • What is this error?

The following errors occurred with your submission:

The number of tags you tried to add to this thread exceeded the maximum number of tags by 20.

I was trying to make a post in general discussion, but this keeps coming up.
I Don't know what this means
Can someone explain what is causing it?

    tags

Scrolling down below the post gives you the opportunity to enter keywords (tags) relating to your post. If you don't enter any, some will be selected automatically.

Did you enter tags manually? That's the only way for that error to come up that I know of.
    Sincerely,

For some unknown reason, this happens to me occassionally. I've never entered tags manually. To get rid of the error, I had to go to tags as though I was going to enter manually but delete the ones that were there. They will automatically reappear unless you hit the "submit reply" button immediately after deleting the tags.

I have no idea what causes this error. It's frustrating. Happened to me about 4 or 5 times.

      Regards,

      bi

It happens when you preview the very first post of any new thread.
If you come across the frustration again, just erase the tags and proceed.
