Lama,
I think it is about your subconscious overriding beliefs that you may not be consciously aware of. You do your best to consciously put in your mind what you want, but maybe you can't change your vibration enough because of what is going on subconsciously. That's why PATHS is a super tool And why, short of PATHS, you may be better to try to empty your mind rather than lock it on your goal. When it is locked on your goal, it is locked "inside the box" and you do not allow for your mind's full creativity. Yes, totally. I never really got the reason for the emptying of the mind technique until studying The Master-Key System. Most of that was learning about how to release thoughts, emotions, physical feelings, etc. in order to allow your mind to do its best work.
After you get good at that, you can allow amusing thoughts to seep in around the edges of your mind, while continuing to release everything else XO Jessica |

Hi Lama ~
I think I understand what they are trying to say. Let me put it in an example. you and your desire are a perfect match, and this thing you think you want just doesn't match, and so the Universe doesn't deliver it. Let's say you want a loving relationship full of light, trust, goodness, etc and let's say you are a perfect match to this desire. Now, let's also say you want this relationship with someone in particular. The particular person you want this relationship with may not be able to offer the qualities you desire. Therefore, although you are a match to your desire (of a loving relationship), the person you think you want may not be a match to your desire. Does that make sense? |

I think what Abraham is trying to say is that sometimes we want something that we don't truly need, or something that will not really benefit us. There was a line in the original Star Trek that Spock delivered, "... (he) may find the desire of wanting, is not as always as pleasurable as having..." Consciously you may really want something, but subconsciously you are picking up the Universe's knowing that you really don't need that something, or that something is not quite right for you. That creates a disparity and the Universe doesn't deliver. Just know this - that means something better is coming along your way! ![]() Last edited by Glenn : 12-15-2007 at 07:25 PM. |

God knows best
Hi,
I understand that if one just wants the best from the universe will suffice, and it will lead him/her in the optimum path. We are not able to know exactly what "external" thing is best for us, but we can tell God to give the most optimum thing for us and that is more calming, know why? Because there will be no bad surprises anymore, and one will know that the best is happening all the time no matter it "seems" otherwise. Elias |

Optimum Trajactory
Quote:
I do believe God knows best. For example in Technical Remote Viewing, there is a protocol called OT or Optimum Trajectory. When doing an OT session, the data that the subconscious mind grabs from the collective depends on the infinite intelligence taking into account every single piece of data in all space and time in order to deliver an answer that reflects what is the Optimum Trajectory for a person for example. It takes into account every known possibility and probability. |

One of the things I have come to realize and this applies perfectly here is NO AGENDAS! In both the Busting Loose from the Money Game, and The Power of Now it states that Agendas can get in the way of what is the true and best for ourselves. I came across this as I have found at times that what I think is best for me, my extended self or spiritual self has something much better for me! So say I had my heart set on a specific job, but that job was not what I was supposed to have and it would have cut short my journey to where I am now had I gotten it way back when I wanted it... I had to give up my agenda and the way I wanted things to work out so that better things could come into my life and I could work through a tremendous amount of pain to get to a point that now I have dealt with and processed all that stuff and I am a much better person for it. So I did not get that job, but through faith I will get something much better and I am a much better person for having to stay in faith longer! The exciting thing is now, I am much more powerful and I am much more peaceful because I have learned so much more about who I have really always been! So maybe my desire matched up with my beliefs, but it was not what was best for me... So as mentioned above when we stop listening to our ego mind, and we give up our agendas then true blessings can be bestowed upon us. I still have set before me a desire for an income, but I no-longer have a prescribed way that my ES should get it for me. I still have a desire for a housing, but I no-longer have an agenda of how it will all work out, but that it just will work out. Does this make sense? I hope so! Blessings Sallyjane zartgirl ![]() |

There's a versions (from the vocab in it, I think it is slightly modernized from the original) in the esm library that is the one I used. http://www.esmhome.org/library/TheMasterKeySystem.pdf I found it best to print out one chapter at a time (after the intro, etc). The author intended it to be studied one chapter per week, no faster. He sent it to his students only a week at a time. When I studied it, I did not memorize every study question and answer, but did do the reading and practiced the homework for each chapter (meditation exercises) 5-7 times before going on to the next chaper. Btw Bill Gates is rumored to have studied it and used it to build his success. XO Jessica |
