Are you feeling irritable, grumpy, snappish???

Hello everyone,

Well after almost 7 years of marriage, I had my second cross word with my wife today

We had both noticed that after starting PATHS that our voices got a little louder and sooner with our children. Our tempers seemed a little shorter! I just put it down to the children playing up but I wasn't happy with my second cross word with my wife

We are both taking enough spirulina to avoid the grogginess and tiredness but we didn't figure on being irritable!!!

I read about sleepiness and tiredness but I missed any discussions on being irritable.

A quick email to PATHS and they pointed out a post that said

"If there are not enough neurotransmitters to process all the instructions, then one will feel foggy, grumpy, irritable or just tired."

I thought taking 16g/day was enough but obviously not!

I'm flagging this up in case other people are feeling more irritable than normal.

Best regards
Alan

I will be sure to keep this in mind. I'm not feeling grumpy or snappish myself, mainly because I don't have the energy for it! I've been wandering around in a strange fog all day. And I only viewed my first module yesterday! Wow, this stuff works quickly, all right!

Hope you are all feeling better now, firehorse.

Hi Rin,

Yes, thanks for your support

Taking 20g/day seems to have done the trick. It could be a temporary blip or I might be an oddity

I had an incident with the 3yr old yesterday morning. My voice was raised to get his attention, but my irritability didn't carry on rising and skyrocket as it has done recently. So it looks like the extra spirulina has done the trick.

If you only viewed your module yesterday and are feeling the effects then that's great ... and it looks like a classic symptom of not enough spirulina. Fogginess seems to be a common effect of when you start and do not have enough spirulina. I hope your fogginess goes soon.

Best regards
Alan

Hi Firehorse and Rin -

Firehorse, I am so happy to hear you are feeling right again. Wow, 20g of Spirulina? Think of how much your neurotransmitters are firing away!!

Rin, Firehorse was right on about you probably needing more Spirulina. I remember my first few days on the modules, I was not taking any Spirulina at all! This was back in January when there were not as many of us on the PATHS modules and I underestimated the importance of Spirulina. Big Mistake!!! I would sit in front of my computer at work and felt like doing absolutely nothing. I almost felt drugged by the afternoon.

I am happy to say that only lasted until I purchased my first bottle of the magic green capsules

Love and joy,
PVS

Thank you for your replies, I am popping the magic green pills as we speak! Fortunately my Spring holidays start today, so I can be as laidback as I please for the next couple of weeks without bothering anybody else. Aren't I lucky? And perhaps the module will start to kick in by the time I get back to work .... oh, that would be great!

Hmmm...I`ve been doing Holosync and I`ve noticed a big difference in my positivity in the last year, so I wonder if that would help me if I choose the paths way?

To be absolutely honest, I have no idea. You could be one of the few people that do not benefit from paths.

However, it is free to try for 30 days ... you can get all your money back (for one module) after 30 days provided you follow the simple guidelines.

Best regards
Alan

Yep, irritable

Well, it was touch and go for a couple of days there! I was incredibly cranky, and nearly had to bite my tongue to pieces in order not to snap at the people around me. I'm glad it's over now.

Holosync and Paths

Hi Pioneer,

I've also been using Holosync almost a year and then started on Paths about 6 weeks ago. I think Holosync has been a great help in me acclimating to Paths and seeing results quickly. They are both wonderful tools. With Holosync reformatting the neural networks for higher speed and efficiency, I feel Paths has been layered right on top of that and is utilizing those connections quickly. I also have noticed deeper meditations with Holosync since starting Paths. They work beautifully together!

Hi Jamie, I thought that might be the case. Because the moods people are describing I already went through a year ago and don`t get them anymore (have a very level mood) So, I feel I will be able to get through it easier for that and what you said makes sense too

Update

Hi,

As I started this thread I thought I would give an update.

I upped my spirulina to 20g, and it seemed to make me a little more mellow. I went down back down to 16g and things were maybe a little bit more tense. I upped it to 20g again changed the pattern to 8,4,4,4 which seemed to be better than 4.4.4.8 I was on before.

I then added another 3 modules. And now I'm maybe a little more tense again.

I'll probably keep on 20g for the moment unless I definitely get more irritable or if my sleep gets a lot better (main phase of connection building is over!)

Best regards
Alan

Talking Spirulina and the dreaded SBS

I take all my spirulina within 3 hours of getting up.

I found that if I do not, it is not nearly as effective.

I take the tablets. Will be giving the AFA a try sometime soon.

It has been over a year that I have been doing this, so this is what clearly works for me. I know that everyone is different.

my $.02

Thanks for that Kevin.

I was going by the original pre-meal recommendation, then Aaron said it could help to take some before bedtime hence 4,4,4,8. But I did remember something about taking it earlier hence trying 8,4,4,4.

So for fun, I'm going to try 20,0,0,0 today

Thanks Kevin

Are you guys taking 20 tablets a day I have just started out, and have a pot of 200 x 500mg tablets. How many a day should we be taking? I thought this would last a month or so. Is it possible we take too much?

Don't worry about how much we are taking. Just go by how you feel. I was just feeling more irritable than normal so I kept increasing the spirulina until I was back to normal.

If you feel feel fine on the recommended 2-5g (500mg x 4-10 tablets) then there's is no need to increase.

I was just reporting back about my reactions because I read about tiredness and sleepiness but missed the one about being irritable and I thought I should give it some prominence.

Best regards
Alan

Sorry I forgot to answer this.

Taken from here:

How to take chlorella and spirulina
Upper limit: there is no upper limit. You can eat spirulina like food. If you eat "too much," you will simply get full.

Hi,

A quick update. I had a good night's sleep (but that could be because I wasn't woken up by the kids during the night LOL). If I still feel okay today and tomorrow morning then I'll begin to cut down on the 20g to see how much I need if it is all taken in one go in the morning.

Best regards
Alan

Hi,

Just some more feedback. I came down to 15g for a few days and then something told me I could cut down to 5g so I did. I've been on 5g for the last 3 days and everything seems fine. So it looks like I'm back to 'normal' and the furious brain connection building phase has finished.

Thanks to Kevin for tip about taking it all in one go in the morning. That seemed to work better for me than spreading it out during the day.

Best regards
Alan

The same has happened to me too, went from taking loads to cutting down and feel fine on a far smaller dose than when I had the fogs
